I wasn't too excited about the shampoo having a coconut scent, it's not my favorite - unless I'm on vacation, but actually it's a very pleasant scent and I don't mind it at all. I have a little mutt puppy, not quite a year old and only about 6 pounds. I was him in my kitchen sink cause that's the easiest. The Kong Hydrating Shampoo has a slightly creamy consistency but it goes on and spreads really well and lathers great! With some shampoos I feel like I have to use half the bottle to get full coverage and cut through the oils and dirt on their fur - but this went on like a dream. It also rinsed away like a dream. Despite it lathering so well, when rinsing, it didn't create more suds, it just rinsed right out with ease. My pup's fur feels clean, smells clean, and is soft and silky. Also, he's mostly white and I feel like it did a good job in that department. I would buy this shampoo and again and I definitely recommend.

I just had the opportunity to try out this wonderful product. First, let me start by saying the smell is delightful. It smells like a hand cream that I would use daily. It goes on very smoothly, not a whole lot of suds. It seemed to me that I had a much easier time combing her hair out after I used the Kong Hydrating Shampoo. Anyone with a golden retriever knows how much hair these guys have, and how tangled and dirty it can get. I could still faintly smell the shampoo a few days after I used it, and like I said, it’s a great smell (a welcome change from stinky dog). This is a fantastic shampoo. Definitely give it a try. She looked clean, felt clean and soft and, of course, smelled amazing.

Perfect Smell

wasn’t going to use this until this weekend, but on our morning walk, my male dog peed on my female dog while they were smelling something, right on her head. So

wasn’t going to use this until this weekend, but on our morning walk, my male dog peed on my female dog while they were smelling something, right on her head. So she got a bath when we got home and I cannot believe how clean but not “foo foo” this shampoo smells! It also removed the urine smell from her head and left her shiny and static free. HIGHLY recommend!

Good to sensitive skin

My dude is pretty furry. Not long hair but very coarse hair and he sheds a lot but he has that sensitive pink pittie skin so I have to be selective with shampoo
