From the photo - can't tell if pockets are on both sides? If so, are they the same size?

Leash clasp broke within first 10 minutes
Little metal ring which the leash clasps to almost immediately broke and my dog got loose as a result. My dog is barely 20 pounds and does not pull much so it didn’t
Little metal ring which the leash clasps to almost immediately broke and my dog got loose as a result. My dog is barely 20 pounds and does not pull much so it didn’t take much force for it to be bent out of shape. It’s also a large medium as my dog is typically between a s/med and it is quite large on her. Besides these things it is quite cute and if those issues were resolved would be an awesome product.
Quality holds up, but misses the mark
This NEVER stays on straight. Whether the pockets are empty or not, it always slides down to one side and stays there.

Ring fell off
On our 2nd walk, the ring came off and Reishi was free. Luckily, he did listen to me to come back. It was dark/early morning so I lost the ring before I could investigate

I will hit the hardware store to try to fix it, but it was disappointing. It looks nice on him except it does slide to one side. The pockets are large and will work for our short hikes.

There's a clip to attach his water bowl to as well. And I love the pocket where you can pull out poop bags. Love love this bag! Wish they had different colors.
Okay for small adventure
My 18lbs dog joined me on the Appalachian with this pack. The red padding on the straps gets in the way and causes shifting. The straps were too long on the small
My 18lbs dog joined me on the Appalachian with this pack. The red padding on the straps gets in the way and causes shifting. The straps were too long on the small which was still big for her. Straps loosen over time as the cinching method do not hold up for a full day. I found myself constantly adjusting it for her to avoid rubbing. Ended up cutting adjustment straps short and permanently sewing them in place. The material wore through quickly. Had holes in the side pockets from her occasionally rubbing against the terrain. The pack itself is very thick, and it made it difficult on hot or wet days as it didn’t vent or dry very well. For the price, it’s okay as a starter. Not for anything serious though. It met its demise to a few malicious bears. So guess not bear proof. Lol

We bought this pack for our Chessie to help us take groceries from the garage upstairs to the kitchen. We are seniors and steps are challenging. I load the pack in the garage, my husband is upstairs in the kitchen, he calls Moose who goes upstairs and gets rewarded, hubby empties the pack, I call him back to the garage and we start over. Moose is happy to have this job! My only comment on the pack is that the saddlebags could be larger. The pack fits well, there's lots of adjustments, but it needs to be loaded evenly to keep it centered. Happy with it!

I got this backpack, and it's so nicely made. I love the poop bag holders, and the handle is convenient. I got this for my pug for hikes, when I don't want to hold
I got this backpack, and it's so nicely made. I love the poop bag holders, and the handle is convenient. I got this for my pug for hikes, when I don't want to hold his toys/water/treats, and most of all because The Dog Whisperer suggests it to tire out your dog more. It works, and also Gizmo feels like he has a job and is so focused and calm. He doesn't get so distracted anymore. I took him to the creek and he is so relaxed. Only thing though: the neck strap doesn't adjust/if you have a boy dog like I do, be careful when adjusting one of the straps because it goes over their boy parts.
For training
I bought this for our beagle mix. She requires a lot of excercise so with this we can load her up. Hopefully a few less miles.
