Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

Tugga Wubba
By Nancy on Jan 10, 2021
My dogs love this toy! I have two high energy labs that will run and tug with this toy until they are ready to drop. My dogs love any “wubba”toy and we have found them to be some of the toughest toys that are big enough for both dogs to play with without biting each other’s face when they go to grab the toy from the other dog. This toy is a good weight so I can throw it fairly far for the dogs to retrieve. My dogs love to run and play spirited games of tug and I find these toys work the best.

Great toy for big dogs
By Gringo on Jan 3, 2021
Our dog introduced the Tugga to our new puppy when he was so small she dragged him around with it. Now that he's 75lbs (bigger than she is) it's an even match, but still their favorite game. The Tugga is durable enough to last through several months of hard play. Chewers will shred it eventually - if your dog is one, take the Tugga away and give them something like a nylabone.

Supervised play only
By Mumm on Nov 11, 2020
In a word Garbage. Would be zero stars for durability. Dog loved it... If you can totally 100% supervise you dogs play with this toy every time, and put it away after every use.... it might be ok. But not every one in the household cooperates with this religiously so the much loved toy got eaten.... and thrown away. My super chewer LOVED slapping herself silly with this toy. Sadly she loved it to death a little too fast. So far only rubber Kong toys can last more than a few seconds if she starts chewing them. Everything else besides the smoked pork or beef bones are just a waste. Lesson learned...

Apollo Chosen and Approved
By Apollosmom on Nov 14, 2020
This is one of my hound mix's favorite! He picked it himself at the pet store, had it for a few weeks before the rope part started to unravel (reason for 4 stars and not 5), we finally had to throw it away. Then I found at Chewy and got him 2 more for playing tug and catch in the yard. I don't leave it down for free play though.

it fell apart immediately.
By Munzo on Dec 5, 2020
Our dogs love the wubba toys and so far we haven’t had any issues but recently we ordered this one. Within 20 minutes of giving it to our Golden it was unraveling, frayed, and beyond repair. Our dogs love their toys and can keep a plush for weeks, so we had no fear about this toy being one that lasted. Our mistake.

great toy for stubborn, strong chewers
By kyra on Oct 23, 2020
My dog literally ruins every toy i get him, especially ropes (they’re his favorite). He LOVES his kong tugga wugga so much and has yet to rip it up completely! We’re going on a full week since i gave it to him to play with and it only just unraveled a little bit on the ends. That’s pretty impressive considering he’s been working nonstop to destroy this toy. I would highly recommend for pitbulls who chew up everything you give them.

not here for a long time here for a good time
By Ellie on Oct 29, 2020
My golden doodle absolutely loves this toy but it only last about three weeks before she starts unraveling it. Works well for dogs who will play fetch and tug-of-war but this toy will need to be put away when not being used for those games. For our dog if I came at you toy and it didn’t last long after that.

Not for big dogs
By Sandy on Nov 3, 2020
I bought this toy in XL thinking it might work okay for our two labs, but they destroyed it in no time. And when I say destroyed, I mean every part of it was in pieces and the rope unraveled. This toy would probably be okay for small dogs but don't waste your money on it if you've got a big dog.

Quality doesn’t meet reputation
By ButterfieldCritters on Dec 25, 2020
I’ve purchased several “wubba” products lately and am finding a common thread, if you’ll pardon the pun; the fabric covering doesn’t hold up well in the teeth of my chewer. He’s a small mixed breed and he LOVES his Wubbas but I start try to sew the fabric back on at about 15 minutes.

dogs did not like
By love on Nov 20, 2020 Top 250 Contributor
Got this toy for my dogs birthday. He loves rope toys but he hated this. I handed it to him and he took it and put it down. No one has not touched it since. Such a shame and it was more then a normal rope. Would not recommend.
