maybe for VERY GENTLE CHEWERS ONLY
LOVE Kong toys...BUT this one did not hold up even 1 day. My Doodle had the rope pulled apart and one of the tassles off within a couple of hours. Oh well...the search for a tough enough toy continues.
Torn to pieces in 5 minutes
My 10-pound, 4-month old puppy (not a heavy chewer or aggressive player) tore this to pieces in 5 minutes: the entire rope unravelled and disconnected from the seam. Maybe we received a defective one. :(
Great Tug Toy
My 18 month old Frenchie loves to chew and tug. The only toys that last are the Kong toys and he loved this new toy. Throws it up in the air and runs around with it. Loves to chew the rope and also the flaps.
Fun dog toy
Well made, great color, dog toy. Very sturdy. I have a golden retriever, and he has a 95 lb German Shepard friend. They play and tug with this toy and it is holding up.
Kong had done it again and made an extremely durable toy! All their “wubba” brand toys are seriously the way to go if you are looking for toys that will last, and this “tugga wubba” is no exception. The only reason I took one star off is because it’s not my packs favorite toy, they prefer stuffed animals over tougher toys like this, but if I only got stuffed animal toys then none of the toys I got would ever last! Even though I own a 75lb German Shepherd, a 65lb golden retriever and a 45lb mutt, this toy still lasts at shortest a couple months and at longest, over a year! It’s also a fun toy for pups that love to play tug of war! I highly recommend this toy!
Tough toy for a shaker
My dog likes to give her toys a good shaking. I have given her three of these. The first one lasted a couple weeks, the second one, which was larger, is still among the living. The most recent one however only lasted a day. It is a pretty tough toy and designed for dogs who like to shake toys.
I would not recommend
This toy is not for a moderate chewer. I have a 6 month old puppy and the braided material did not stay together and he was able to chew which created strings and I had to take this away within 2 days.
wanted to Love it
After opening and watching my 6 month old Boxer loving it, I put another in my cart for my nephews German Shepard puppy. 5 hours later DESTROYED...... I really thought this one was the one..... Not so. Gotta keep looking took the second out of my cart
An ok tug toy
My dogs love toys they can tug on together. This one is semi-durable. One side of the straps came off on the first day. The rest is still in tact. Just the right weight to be thrown for a good chase
Pulls apart easily
For a Kong toy, this didn’t last long at all. It was destroyed in a few days. And was a terrible mess when it came apart.
