I have two miniature dachshunds who are big towers and usually destroy things quickly so they are loving this antler.

My dogs love elk antlers, and I’ve been buying those Kong chew treats for years. Since last year, I’ve started receiving smaller sizes than usual (from Kong), as if they cut the small size in half. I was surprised, but since they are my dogs’ favorite treats and $7.80 for one piece wasn’t too bad, I continued buying them. However, the price has now doubled, which is crazy for tiny elk antlers, especially when they come in half-sized packs. My two medium dogs (30 lb each) chew them for half an our. I can’t imagine how quickly a bigger dog could chew through them. I’m very disappointed with how expensive they’ve become for such a small size. So bye-bye Kong!
Price almost doubled and quality went down

We were buying these often because our dog loved them when they were a true "split" (half) antler at about $7.50. Now they have almost doubled in price and are inconsistent. Some are thin halfs so she can't get to the marrow and starts cracking off shards of bone, and others are as small as a 1/4 wedge. Used to be her favorite, not so much now and not worth the high price.

I ordered a large, what I received should have been for a small dog and not titled for large.

I have purchased this product before for my two pups and they have been fine. My last purchase of two split Kong antlers ended up in the trash after the first day. There were little sharp pieces all over the furniture and embedded in my dog’s long coat. The antler itself became very sharp and jagged. I had ordered the small antlers as my dogs are under 10pounds and are not aggressive chewers. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing these again.

Our 2 YO active bijohn needs to chew to relax and calm down after playing and we find that the antlers keep her occupied for days. She is not an aggressive chewer but these seem to last longer than other treats. She would eat all day so this gives her an outlet for that without the weight gain.
