Breaks into Chunks/Splinters Easily

I figured an antler would be durable enough for a 39lb Australian Shepherd. Alas, I was wrong. Within 10 minutes, I checked in and he was chewing off nice sized

I figured an antler would be durable enough for a 39lb Australian Shepherd. Alas, I was wrong. Within 10 minutes, I checked in and he was chewing off nice sized chunks of bone and swallowing. Wonderful. Now I get to stress about a foreign body/blockage. Antler is headed to the trash, along with the other one my other dog was happily chewing on with same results. Deeply disappointed in this product, waste of my money even with the bogo deal.

$18 for this?

The large is about the size of a hotdog. It’s 6.5 inches and about an 1” diameter. Definitely not worth $18. I’m not even sure I should give it to my 3 year old

Originally I purchased a small antler for my miniature schnauzer to keep her busy. Well, I learned I should have also bought a large antler at that time for our black lab. After doing so, I found that they BOTH want the large antler because they love it. So, from now on it's two of the same thing for both! Kong products are great and these antlers are more reasonably priced than the competitors. However, a word of caution: get ALL the glue off antler before giving it to your pet(s).

Have to remove glue??

Didn't appreciate having to spend 15 minutes removing the glue from the elk antler. Kong needs to find a better method to package this item other than GLUE it to

Didn't appreciate having to spend 15 minutes removing the glue from the elk antler. Kong needs to find a better method to package this item other than GLUE it to the cardboard. German shepherd wasn't that interested in the elk antler, I suspect it is not nearly as fresh as other brands I have purchased in the past. Overpriced. Will not buy again.
