I bought this dog carrier for my daughter who had loved and over their shoulder carrier around her neck along with a backpack and another bag for many trips. She told me it was a total game changer. The wheels are very smooth and multidirectional making it very easy to navigate the airport. And it fits under the seat even with the wheels on. Highly recommend!

On the positive, the fabric material is of good quality and the general level of construction is sturdy. If your thought is to leave this installed in your vehicle solely for pet commute, it’s fine. Full-access drop-down end panels with full-circumference bi-direction zippers are handy. It is nicely ventilated with good visibility of your pet. The removable interior covering is a nice detail, easing washability. If another version is designed, please enlarge the pocket. The “large” pocket on top, 7.5L x 5.75W x 1.5, is nice but not large enough for food, treats, collar, etc. However, for airline travel, it is a total failure. Very frustrating experience! I used this to transport a small Cockapoo, a calm and easy traveler. The extendable handle broke within 20 minutes of first use as it is poorly designed with light-duty aluminum connecting to plastic. The hinge accommodates forward-only movement, not side-to-side rotation, restricting turning corners. It sheered off in a turn. The 4 “smooth spinning wheels” are maddening due to their 360 rotation, causing it to careen without control. As with a suitcase, it needs two fixed rear wheels and two 360 front wheels to guide its direction. The carrier spun when pulled at a normal walking pace, startled the dog who stood against the carrier's side for support, made it off-balance, and caused it to topple. The removable wheeled platform has Velcro strips longer than its fabric covers. Thus, after the platform is removed, it sticks to the carpeting instead of being able to slide under the seat in front of you. ARGH. Several customers question whether the carrier will accommodate a specific airline’s guidelines. It depends on the aircraft, not the airline. Delta shares, “The maximum carry-on kennel dimensions are determined by the aircraft dimensions of your flight, as the under-seat space varies by aircraft. Delta recommends a soft-sided kennel with maximum dimensions of 18” x 11” x 11”, since this fits most aircraft types.” With a collapsible frame, most small dog carriers comply. This frame did not collapse; I was at serious risk of being asked to deplane because the carrier would not fit under the seat, extending about 6” from the seat in front of me, violating safety code. I was on a Delta Air Lines Airbus 321, a large aircraft, and there should have been plenty of room. Thankfully, Chewy’s excellent customer service was 100% supportive and gave a full refund. I will donate it because it’s not worth keeping, even for free.

I was looking for something for a cross country car trip for my two cats. I think this will work great. I was able to put both cats in it. I like that I don't have to carry it and it even has a handle like a suitcase. I put it on the back seat and opened the sides, you actually roll them up. After I parked I opened it so they could get out if they wanted to. A little pricey, but worth it I think.
