This non-toxic formula works to detoxify tap water, removing all chlorine, chloramines and toxic metals like zinc, iron, copper and others, so you can safely add fish to your saltwater or freshwater aquarium. It also contains special polymer colloids that form a protective slime for fish, and electrolytes that help reduce stress levels in your tank. Instructions
Shake bottle before using. Add 1 teaspoon (approx. 5 ml) for each 10 gallons of water, or 1 fl oz for 60 gallons. NovAqua Plus does not interfere with the fishes’ breathing. NovAqua Plus will not interfere with the measurements of aquarium test kits.
- 8-oz bottle contents treat 480 gallons for average water conditions.
- 16-oz bottle contents treat 960 gallons for average water conditions.

NovAqua Plus
This product is a must have in your aquarium supplies. I've used NovAqua for over 20 years. It is the best and economical water conditioner on the market, in my opinion. I have it on hand at every water change and also during any times of stress in fish and with fish transport. I'm so glad Chewy is offering this for their customers! The price through Chewy is also very reasonable and most times cheaper than other companies. Thanks Chewy!

I use it along with Amquel Plus. Fish never complain.
Highly Recommend
This product came highly recommended from our fish expert friend who helped us set up our first tank. Now 5 years and two tank upgrades later and we still use this product. We have well water and many will say you don’t need this chemical with well water but we still use it for the protection that it provides for our fish!
I won’t use anything else
Ive been using Novaqua for over 20 years in both fresh and saltwater tanks. Never a single problem. Adding too much will cloud water but it will clear in a few days.
Killed my entire tank of angel fish plus 3 others
When I use this alone with another one it killed all of my angel fish that I have raised from babies plus my two dojo’s and Ploco
not worth it
Ive had my 44 gallon aquarium for a long time. Given that this product has a great pricr, I bought it to save money. Just two days after application and water change my tank looked cloudy. I tried it another time and it did the same thing. This had never happened to me and I care for my fish well with good products.... Not worth buying.
I Will 100% Trust This Product
This is the best water conditioner I've ever used. It works for both saltwater and freshwater, I use it for freshwater but it's way more expensive at the store! I'm paying $14 for this at the store. But I love this water conditioner!
