Does it’s job, a bit small for F150 truck

    By on

This is a great quality barrier and was easy to set up, only reason it’s 4 stars is that it’s a little small for a full size truck - it works and fits but the driver and passenger seat have to be in line with each other otherwise straps are too short. Otherwise it’s a great quality barrier and worth every penny!

    Excellent fit

We have a 2016 Honda Odyssey,we also have two 22 pound mix breed dogs. The barrier is working great, keeping our two hiking buddies away from the driver. Nice product, easy installation.

Not for Dogs that have serious drive.

    By on

Our Belgian Malinois 60Lbs Male Made short work of getting over it when installed exactly as described in our F150supercab. Would likely be fine for smaller and lower drive dogs even if they are larger breeds.

    Does the job

    By on

I bought this to replace a barrier that my collie broke through. This one works well, but would work better if my head rests were detachable. The barrier would then sit higher and there would be less gaps. This is the best option for the car I have a the moment. I think a persistent dog would be able to get through.

Works great. I will be using it every trip we make. I have four dogs and it helps great to keep them out of the front seat

    Not what the picture depicts

    By on

I needed a barrier to fill the gap between my seats in my F 150 that goes below the upper barrier I have and the top of the center console. The picture in the description makes it look like the barrier goes to the bottom of the front seats, but I barely comes to the top of the console, it does not keep my pups from entering under the barrier and the top of the console it's to short! it's not nearly as long as the picture describes. It is well made and a nice piece of equipment, but If you expect it to fill a gap down past half the front seat height this is not the barrier for you.

    Not The best

Didn’t quite do the job. I loved the door guards, also the tarp serves its purpose and more. However the backseat barrier can use some work.

Provides a barrier, not for big dogs

My greyhound is considered a large dog, but he's figured out he can fit through relatively small gaps, especially if the barrier is soft. When the video indicated a steel rod went across the top, I figured this would work. Unfortunately, my barrier did not come with the steel rod that goes across the top. There doesn't even appear to be a pocket up there for a rod. For now, my greyhound sits in the back of my Impreza. In my old car, which was not a hatchback, he sat in the back seat and occasionally tried to get up front while I was driving. I fashioned a makeshift barrier that helped there, but it wasn't perfect. I feel this barrier will do the job for many people with dogs that don't have such long legs to reach over the barrier. However, given I bought this based on the video indicating a feature it doesn't appear to have, I can't really say this is for anyone with larger dogs that can get their bodies over the top. The top is not rigid and will give way to the dog's body. … more

Not a good product for me

    By on Top 250 Contributor

I have a 65 pound Stafford who has pushed on it and leaned on it to the point it broke. If you have a pushy dog like mine I would recommend something much stronger. If your dog just needs a little reminder to stay in the back then this would probably work well for you. I would not buy again.
