What is the proper way to measure for this brace

For the knee brace sizing you'll need to take two measurements: the circumference of the injured leg just above the knee joint, and the length of the leg from that point above the knee, down to an inch above the hock joint. It's also helpful to take into account your dog's weight. Once you have those numbers, you can compare them to this chart to figure out which size will most likely fit best:

Can it stay on all the time

This brace is designed to be worn during times of activity. Is is not intended to be worn at all times or during times of rest. If your dog lies down while wearing the brace, it will likely lose tension and need to be repositioned prior to further use.

Is this complete, or is the neck/shoulder strap a seperate purchase?

The chest harness is not included. Any standard chest harness with a leash clip on the top side will work.

Address provided for return and replacement, came back "return to sender".

My dog is hurting and needing this brace for ACL Tear. She's on the borderline for the sizing and went with the large, suposedly supposed to be an easy return and

My dog is hurting and needing this brace for ACL Tear. She's on the borderline for the sizing and went with the large, suposedly supposed to be an easy return and replacement, noting they are a family business yet the brace comes from CHINA... Please forgive me but I have a BRACE that doesn't fit and my dog is in pain.

We bought this for Simba, our 9 year old dog after the vet suggested he might have a torn ACL. It was a little tricky to get on and keep on but feel it was a great

We bought this for Simba, our 9 year old dog after the vet suggested he might have a torn ACL. It was a little tricky to get on and keep on but feel it was a great help to him in stablizing his joint while recovering. His brother was helpful in aiding his escape by chewing through the straps but we managed to repair the straps and keep it on. It's hard to keep these types of devices on a dog when you are not present all day to monitor but we do feel like it was helpful while he wore it. Ultimately, with Dasuquin and this brace, he's healed and no longer limping or showing any signs of injury.

Did not provide support as expected

We purchased it for our 130lb Bull Mastiff. He has a torn cruciate ligament and is recovering from a TPLO on the opposing leg. The veterinarian orthopedic surgeon

We purchased it for our 130lb Bull Mastiff. He has a torn cruciate ligament and is recovering from a TPLO on the opposing leg. The veterinarian orthopedic surgeon recommended this labra knee brace. The dog promptly removed it. I was concerned the strap configuration would rub a sore on his inner leg.

Looked appealing...

Not size appropriate match, difficult to put on so thrown away. This was true to another one as well. Thigh portion doesn't fit.
