Dogs with arthritic knees may kneed a little help getting around, and the Labra Left Leg Dog Knee Brace could be the solution — especially when surgery is not an option. A rigid hinged metal support system takes some of the pressure off your poor pooch’s aching left knee, easing her discomfort and enabling her to move in ways that would otherwise be too painful. Its sturdy neoprene fabric is flexible enough to allow maximum freedom of movement. So she can get back to the level of activity she needs to stay healthy.

I ordered an extra large because they said go up a size if it was in between the sizes. It was too big. I sent it back with the purchase order but in my letter to them I side med instead of large. It was way to small. So now I am stuck with medium they will not replace it. I ordered from another company looks the same but cheaper. Anyone need a med lt knee brace? I have one I cannot use.
The vet chiropractor recommended I use this brace for my Great Pyrenees 120 lb puppy. This product is hard to put on. The metal stays are already coming through the fabric.
This was bought to try to save my 8y.o. pit mix from having surgery(had 1 on right knee a few years ago). I actually haven't had any problems with this except for the Velcro belly band. Since my dog wears a harness all I had to do was shorten the back strap to get the right length and she acts like she's always worn it. Now I hope it gives the ligaments and muscles heal quicker.
The knee brace is very difficult to strap onto the dog. It slips, slides, twists, too loose, then too tight but in the wrong spot. The straps are good and long but flap around sticking to itself while you try to maneuver it onto a semi mobile dog. The harness I ordered was not the right one so don't make that mistake- and do get the harness. The brace strap just slips off the back end of my lab mix. It may work great on other dogs and with the right harness. Not for me- submitting for a refund.
Even with the separately purchased chest harness the brace does not stay in place when dog sits or moves around
Was a bit tricky at first because my dog is a large breed and has long hair. Was able to adjust and fit my dog perfectly. It did not seem to bother him and fit comfortably. The only reason I rated it 4 instead of 5 is because harnesses was not included, but you can use any type of harness and we happened to have one on hand.
My 6 year old pitbull mix needed a knee brace as suggested by his vet to help him heal a tear that occurred in his leg. The quality of this product is amazing. The comfort level for my dog, not so much. It was easy to put on, they include step by step instructions. The brace itself did seem like it was slipping down his leg throughout the day. If you are looking for a product for an older dog who may have joint or leg issues while walking, I believe this would be a great product. As for a middle aged dog who needs a little help after surgery, or to heal a tear, this may not be the right product.
This item was too tricky to try to get it on my dog properly, and the sizing chart was not specific enough for me to pick the right size...or I am just not getting it on right. Multiple emails to Labra did not resolve and I am just out $150 because I bought a refurbished one. I wish I had looked and seen below that 83% of reviews are 1 star. Definitely don't recommend LABRA or this product.
The brace was great except the web site did not tell you the brace itself was not a complete package. You needed tp purchase the shoulder strap also. It did not come with it. Also it was not stated that the dog could not lay down with it on!!!!!!!
Concept is good, need heftier straps for better suspension. Shipping beyond expectations. Thanks good service.
