Where are the instructions for proper measuring to get the correct size?

To get the right size measure across the front of your dog's knee when it is slightly bent. This is where the brace will hold the knee in place horizontally and is a horizontal measurement across the knee bone (patella). It should be 1-3" for most medium or large dogs. Measure around your dog's knee when it is slightly bent.

Does this or any other brace you carry prevent knuckling and dragging of hind leg? Thank you for your help

Great brace for wonderful price & IT WORKS!

Unfortunately, German Shepherds as well as many large dogs, once they start getting up in years their hips and lower back start giving out. We have had several!

Unfortunately, German Shepherds as well as many large dogs, once they start getting up in years their hips and lower back start giving out. We have had several! It is heartbreaking! You might note that we first purchased these braces about six or so years ago for Achilles. He passed away in June of 2022 and the irony was it was not his hips and back, it was cancer. These braces helped him (so did our vet w/acupuncture & laser treatments. These braces helped support his rear legs so he could build his muscle back up. Our new pup apparently didn’t like them one Ruby so he chewed the Velcro straps off of one, hence us only needing one. If I was home I would get a picture of Ruby right now but I can’t get back until Wednesday! Would it be okay to send you a photo then? Please let me know. Thank you!

Unsupportive

Covers hot spot

I bought to prevent my dog from licking/reopening hotspot right above her paw. For my dog, I had to them cover with a sock (cut a hole in bottom) to prevent her

I bought to prevent my dog from licking/reopening hotspot right above her paw. For my dog, I had to them cover with a sock (cut a hole in bottom) to prevent her from undoing Velcro but she’s special like that. Works great for my needs

Hock braces

They work great. I have a 16 year old Weimaraner who was having trouble walking in the yard, her hocks would touch the ground when she go’s to the bathroom also

They work great. I have a 16 year old Weimaraner who was having trouble walking in the yard, her hocks would touch the ground when she go’s to the bathroom also. Now she’s elevated again and happy to cruise the yard a lot longer then before. I highly recommend them. The Velcro is a bit strong at first so taking them off was a bit of a chore. I recommend washing them before use.

do not waste your money

very difficult velcro straps to undo when Itrying to take off the brace off my dog. It is like they are glued!!! I am afraid to cause more damage to his knee
