The unit never worked and didn't heat the water garden.
The light on top of the unit came on so it looked like it was working but it never seemed to heat the water it was floating in.

I have been using this heater for 5 years in PA. My pond is 160 gallons & it keeps my pond surface from freezing. I also like that it has a red & green light on
