Our dog is notorious for chewing everything, so we got this handle and added it to a short chain extension from Herm Sprenger to use as a leash. It works well. He doesn’t grab the leash to play tug anymore and he can’t chew it in half like he as with 2 other nylon leashes. I love the cushy handle. It’s much easier on my hands than any other leash I’ve tried.

This time, she bit right through it. I was a couple of blocks from home. Anyway, this seems to be designed for a large dog. Pretty weak material.

This leash works good as a chew toy we have gone through 2 of them and she eats them as soon as we get it even if we wrap it in electrical tape
