Bad design?

I tried frozen bloodworms but my fish could not get them out of the feeder. Food just bunched up in the bottom.

I have a nano tank w/Indian dwarf puffers and they are messy eaters. I figured I'd try this as a way to feed frozen bloodworms without fouling up my tank, and it has made my life 89377643785623745623764578346 times easier. I tend to leave the ring suctioned to the tank always and only put the cone in when it's time to feed, then I remove the cone when feeding time is over. The frozen bloodworms do poke through but they have to work for them some, which has prevented over-feeding. They were also always a bit slow to go for frozen foods for the most part, preferring live, but for some reason serving the frozen bloodworms in the cone gets them in feeding frenzy mode. Overall I'm really happy with this little cone/feeder and have ordered a 2nd for my reef tank as a cheap way to disperse frozen foods w/o a huge mess.

Great for white worms

Bettas and rainbows learned really fast how to pick the white worms through the slots. Works great, have to see how it works with frozen blood worms.

Terrible!!

This product is terrible! It does not work and especially doesn’t stay connected to the suction cup. So disappointed!

great product

This is a great idea . I wish it had a top to it because my betas have jumped into it . Other than that it is a great product.

It's decent

I bought 3, one for my 55gal, one for my 4.5 gal, and the other for my pea puffer tank. These have a little holding cone so none comes out the bottom, and the rest

I bought 3, one for my 55gal, one for my 4.5 gal, and the other for my pea puffer tank. These have a little holding cone so none comes out the bottom, and the rest are little bitty rectangle holes all around. It does decent. All 3 came with suction cups. They stick well. But the food just sits there, and doesn't always come out. I can't say I'm the happiest person, but it works. Blood worms and flame food kinda just sit there.

Only way to feed Live Black Worms

I have had several of these over the years and they are the only way to feed Live Black Worms to tropicals. They have a great time pulling them thru the mesh
