Saved my horse from crawling out of his skin

I have a chestnut thoroughbred that just cannot deal with the noseeums in the south. Great coverage, easy to wash. Stays cool enough in warm weather (max 75 Fahrenheit)

Fabric not breathable and too hot for Vermont!

I was super excited about this fly sheet for my horse with sweet itch. Upon fitting it it appeared comfortable, and I appreciated the ample room in neck attachment,

I was super excited about this fly sheet for my horse with sweet itch. Upon fitting it it appeared comfortable, and I appreciated the ample room in neck attachment, as well as the padding over the withers. Unfortunately, my horse began to overheat when it was only in the upper 70s and sunny, even in his shelter, and after 2 days of wearing it he got multiple sections of hair rubbed off around his shoulders. The stitching is quite thick where the rubs are so I think they are the culprit. The rubs are interestingly not in a typical point of shoulder area, but higher up. I’m bummed!
