I have purchased three of these air purifiers now. These make a huge difference in the rooms where I have my litter boxes. I keep the setting on auto and the fan automatically goes to high every time I scoop. Have one by the front door also to catch all the incoming dust and dirty air as we go in and out. I even bought a smaller model for my bedroom that has help to reduce my symptoms during allergy season.

I wish it were a little more effective which is why I only gave it a 4 star. It's pretty cool in that the ring on the top changes color to let you know if it's sensing dirty air or clean air...however, after leaving it in the kitchen while cooking, a half hour after, the line of top was blue (clean air), but going outside and coming back into the kitchen, I could still smell what I cooked, not as strong as when cooking, but it was there. I can say it's working, just takes a long time. Left it running overnight and by morning all the smell was finally gone. Note - my kitchen area is fairly small. Still glad to have it as I know it's doing something. Waiting for the ultimate test...a highly allergic stepson (we have cats).

It moves a lot of air on the high setting and is very quiet on the lower settings. I like that the lights can be completely turned off. The air comes out the top, so no unpleasant drafts. The sensor either doesn't work or is not very sensitive. I have a Winnix purifier that changes fan speed when I cook or open a door when it's smoky outside. This one always stays on the lowest setting in auto mode. I just run it on medium, since it's not too loud.
