I don't think I will purchase it again; it's not an issue of performance because I've only used it for two days, but the amount to give my 48-pound dog is huge, and the product is so "airy" that it goes everywhere. Cons: 1. The packaging. It should be in a jar, not a zip bag. The product gets all over the zipper bag (it's packed in there, and it won't close) and the top of the bag. When you open it, you have a "flour explosion" everywhere. You also can't remove the scoop without sticking your hand in the small bag and coating it in supplement. I emptied the bag into a Ziploc to remove the scoop, and so I could close it. That's okay, but having a Ziploc full of mystery white powder in the pantry is less than ideal. 2. The amount to feed: Whoa. The powder is extremely fine and light, so 1.5 scoops for a medium dog is essentially equivalent to two mounds of powder, more than any supplement I've fed before. We feed our dog 1 cup of small-bite kibble per meal. There was so much powder that I had to mix it with water to make it easier for her to eat. 3. Price tag: One bag will last about 27 days; I will switch back to our previous coat supplement just because of the cost of Lexelium.

My dog was losing her hair, more than the usual shedding. I added this supplement to her food and she really liked it. Plus her coat had grown back full and healthy.
