How many watts does this system use? (What is the electricity usage/cost per month?)

Answer by Chewy • Sep 01, 2022
The Lifegard All-In-One Triple electrical consumption is 58 watts for the pump and 13 watts for the UV sterilizer. The usage cost can be calculated based on your local kilowatt hour rate, found on your electrical bill.

At first, it was okay. I did not like the way the 3 filters stack on each other. The "hinges" that lock them together really is quite flimsy. This is okay on land, but quite annoying in the water if you accidently unscrew the locking fountain tube, and all the pieces fall apart. I didn't care enough about that annoyance to give this a bad review though. There's more: The fountain hinge (which is also the locking device, and not optional) is not strong enough, literally the pump's strength was enough to blow it off, which was why I had to go fishing for those pieces in my pound. So I diverted some of the output to the secondary output and it seemed okay. Then it started floating up after a few days. I think the secondary output was acting like a mini jet. Fine. I opened it up in the water again, and added some ceramic filter packs in the center to weigh it down. It has that nice center space, maybe this will improve the filter function. Then after a week, it tripped my breaker. Now it will not stop tripping my breaker. That's the final straw.
