Does this light have UVB light?

This aquarium lamp is designed with LED light to help enhance plant growth, brighten colorful corals or show off your fishy friend.

Is the light programmable? ramp up and ramp down?

The Lifegard Full Spectrum LED light is not programmable. However, it can be attached to a separate remote timer. It also has separate on/off switches for the blue LEDs and the multi-colored LEDs. This allows you to create a moonlight effect at night.

Can you only have the blue lights on?

This lighting features a two-mode ON/OFF switch (Full Spectrum, Lunar Blue, and OFF positions) so you can manually transition from Full Spectrum to lunar.

Is the light dimmable? Or is it just on and off?

Did not last

This light lasted me 6 months before it died. The plastic covering the led panel was not sealed. Humidity was trapped inside which caused electrical failure. Why

Has a full spectrum of lights

The downside is that it has no remote control. There's only two buttons that are hard to press and I'm afraid this will not last long.

I saw this light on sale for ~$18 so I had to snag it, and I’m so glad I did! It’s a little short for my 34 inch tank (but I did order the wrong size, not their fault at all) so I got some longer brackets and now it’s perfect. My betta loves it for his 16 gallon bookshelf! Just a note, this light does not have a built-in timer, so you’ll have to use a smartplug or something if you want it scheduled. I had an extra lying around so it’s perfect for me. I do wish it had a sunrise/sunset function, but for the price I can’t complain. I haven’t used the blue light function, as it isn’t really suited for my needs but it does seem very vibrant and bright as well! I definitely recommend this light!

9000K vs 6500 so not perfect for freshwater plants but definitely usable. They did that so that it can still be used for a modest, limited reef setup. But for the
