I’ve used this in my 75 gallon goldfish tank for a couple years. It helps prevent the water chemistry from getting unbalanced, whenever I break down the canister filter for cleaning, and when vacuuming the gravel substrate. Goldfish are notoriously dirty to keep, and quite adaptable. This has always helped rebalance my biological filtration after cleaning.
