This is the worst purchase I've ever made in my 68 yrs of life. It unfortunately replaces a model that worked beautifully for years. This thing is the worst designed
This is the worst purchase I've ever made in my 68 yrs of life. It unfortunately replaces a model that worked beautifully for years. This thing is the worst designed thing I've ever dealt with. There are three pieces. The top piece snaps onto the middle piece just fine. The middle piece holds the filter medium. The bottom piece holds the pump. The middle piece and bottom piece are only held together by two tiny tabs (that do not snap into place AT ALL!) only one one side! So there is absolutely NOTHING holding the top 2 parts to the bottom part except that the fountain stem is screwed to the pump that is sitting loose in the bottom. The pump sits askew so it is impossible to screw it together and have it aligned. I literally have the entire unit tied together with STRING to keep it in one piece. I would rather poke my eye out with a fork than deal with taking this in and out of the pond to clean it. Worst purchase I've ever made.
