Very Well Made
We left out the center divider for our 75 lb shepherd & it’s large enough for him to stretch out. Worth every penny.

Carve out some time for assembly.
The finished product is nice, as described. The holes the place screws in certain parts of the instructions were non-existent so the base and top aren’t firmly attached

The holes the place screws in certain parts of the instructions were non-existent so the base and top aren’t firmly attached having to have made those holes. Instructions are in multiple languages which is great, definitely written by someone not actually assembling it though, luckily following the pictures works great. The foster dog I bought this for is no longer here so we’ll see if any others use it. It’s nice, and would be a good spot to get out of the sun. Nice ventilation windows on the sides you can close during inclimate weather. The door flap is a little short.

Was easy to put together. Instructions were very well laid out. One shock for the roof damaged when try to install. CS was great and sent me a new one with no hassle

I believe it is advertised as “insulated”, but it’s not really (I really wish it was, only reason for 4 stars instead of 5). May have some type of insulation in the thin plastic walls, but there are enough places around the fog house that are not. However, overall I am very pleased with the dog house.

I am very happy with this dog house, so, let's start from the beginning. Ordering was very easy (good job Chewy.com) and it arrived on schedule. My daughter decided to assemble it whilst I was doing other things, and had it done apart from the lid within 1 1/2 hours. We then put the lid together in about 15 minutes. The instructions were pretty clear and the on-line Utube videos they provide, would be helpful for people who struggle to put things together. We were looking for a house that would provide warmth and a place off the ground to lounge. This house meets both of the needs. Tillie is an Australian Shepherd, she found it very easy to jump on the roof and instantly took to lounging around. She learnt within two minutes how to negotiate the door. I think she is going to love her new home! I would recommend this product. I have had many different types of dog houses for our ranch dogs, from homemade to store bought and this beats them all. It is well made, looks really nice, and hopefully will last a "Lifetime"!

The item is super sturdy but light enough that he could carry it and reposition it without any help. The top locks down and easily opens up for us to be able to put their bed in. I love the fact that there is a place to put a space heater for the times they need to stay out for a bit. We’ve had a doghouse before and it just didn’t hold up well after being out in the weather. Lifetime makes such great products that hold up season after season and I know this will be great just like our deck box.

This dog house is extremely nice quality and is very sturdy. The overall quality of this product exceeds expectations. My favorite feature is the easy open lid that I can use when I am cleaning out or if I need to check in on whats happening inside. Although its sturdy, it is still very easy to move around. It took me about 3 hours to put together, and I recommend having a drill, a socket wrench (or a drill with a socket wrench attachment), and kitchen tongs. I say tongs because the man in the video is able to reach to the bottom of the house easily, and I have short arms haha, so I needed the tongs. I also needed a step stool for getting in and out of it, which made some parts easier. Make sure you watch the youtube video AND read along the step by step instructions, it helps trust me. Also do NOT remove the plastic bags from the parts until you are ready, I did and got really confused on what to use where at one point. My guy loves his new home!

It has a divider that you can have in or out that is super nice. I also love how it looks by our deck. It’s beautiful and well made.

We are so in love with our new doghouse. I have 2 mini-Australian shepherds who are 30 lbs each. They both fit nicely in the house. One of the features we were most excited about was the material the house is made out of. The idea that it won’t rot and won’t need to be repainted like our wooden backyard fence is amazing! I was also pleased with the quality of the clear door. The door was the perfect thickness to keep closed with a little wind and also light enough the dogs had no problem pushing it to get through. I also really appreciate that the roof opens. This makes it easy to clean and also easy to see the pups if they decide they don’t want to come out. If you are looking for a backyard dog house, this is the perfect choice.
