This product was too small for my 93 pound dog. Although it was high quality I wouldn’t recommend it for large dogs . The bit is very coarse and does not leave a very smooth finish. The nail is supposed to go into a hole on top of the device that supposed to be protective the hole is too small for my dogs claw. The included trimmers were also too small for his nails. It is a very nice nail grinder would be nicer if it had different grinding attachments and different hole size attachments. The case is very nice in the included accessories. I did not try this on my cats as I like having a face and not having to go to the ER. So as per my title text I recommend this for small to medium dogs it does seem to be a decent grinder but was not effective on my dog due to his size.

This product was way more than I expected. It came with a zippered carry case, nail clipper, charging cable, and two extra grinding wheels in their own plastic carry case. That makes it quite an economical product. The nail clipper included is larger than I would use on my toy dogs, but it would be a great supplement for larger dogs. It offers two speeds, so you can take a lot off at once or just do a little touch-up after using clippers. It is pretty quiet, even on the higher setting, with most of the noise coming from the sound of the nail being ground. It is lighter and thinner than other grinders I have used, so it is easy to hold and maneuver. It arrives with a cover over the grinding head. With the cover removed, there are choices of two surfaces (one on the top and one on the side) for grinding that protects long hair from getting caught in the wheel. You can also totally expose the grinding wheel, which would work well for short haired dogs, as well as provide access to replace the wheel when it gets worn down. I am having trouble pushing the start button, but perhaps it will loosen up with use.

I think this little nail grinder deserves 5 stars! It was simple to use, strong enough for a large dog’s nails, comes with an extra grinder attachment (they seem metal instead of sandpaper? which I like), charger, carrying case, and even came with small nail clippers! I also have a Dremel and I would honestly say this competes with that. I have used another pet nail file that was off brand and it was so weak, whereas this one was not. I also really like the LED light.

This small, easily portable motorized nail trimmer would be wonderful for travel or quick touch-ups. It has adjustable speed and charges quickly. I really like how nice the carrying case is and the included nail clippers. The sound is very quiet during use. It would also work well for small to medium size dogs for an everyday nail trimming option. For my larger pups this isn't large enough or powerful enough to trim all four paws before they are just completely over it.

I've been using a crafter's rotary tool to sand down my two pup's nails, but they aren't really fans of it because it can get a little loud and is super high speed. I worry that I might get too close to their pads and injure them. The LiliPro Nail Grinder is a great addition to my arsenal of tools for my pups overall look. The grinder comes in a great storage case with two extra nail grinders. I like the protective cover that allows you to grind the nails closer without harming or burning their puppy pads. It's nice that it has two speeds, but I think the high speed (which is very quiet, I might add) is the best option to use to get the nails grinded. It comes with a USB-C charging cable and charged the grinder pretty quickly. I was able to grind both pups' nails without any issues. So far, I'm very pleased with the nail grinder and look forward to using it on my cats. Thanks Chewy!

I gave this nail grinder a try on my foxhound/beagle mix. I currently use a different brand grinder, but this one was much quieter. I really like the use of a grinding stone instead of a grinding disk as it seems to last longer. Also, the design of the top makes getting the dog’s nail into the current position very easy. I also like the storage case design with a specific spot for the grinder and a pocket for the additional pieces. The grinding took longer than my previous one, but the quieter noise output makes the extra time worth it as it isn’t as scary for my dog.
