I ordered the Lilipro cordless hair groomer to use on our long haired chihuahua. Annie has very fine but thick hair. Regular clippers take a very long time to cut her fur and it must go over the same area many times. Since these clipper stated they were for cats and dogs, I thought they might work better since cats have fine hair also. I charged them up overnight and started on the dog. They worked for two swipes and then would not cut at all. I was disappointed. I used to trim my small poodle, but never had this much of a problem. I do believe it is just the texture and thickness of her fur.

I really like these. I love the way it docks and takes up little space. It uses USB which is okay. My old clippers would get hot and these don’t so safer for pets

I really like these. I love the way it docks and takes up little space. It uses USB which is okay. My old clippers would get hot and these don’t so safer for pets. I have a golden and I don’t trim much of her but mainly paws and tail/butt and underbelly sometimes a bit. These are perfect for that. Hair doesn’t get stuck in the clippers and my dog stays comfortable.

I use this to clip small mats off of my long haired kitty. It's quiet enough that it doesn't scare him and it easily clips his hair. Because it's cordless, I have also taken it out to the barn to use on my horses. It changes with usb only, and I don’t think it's powerful enough to fully groom a dog.

It's not totally silent but is fairly quiet. I haven't managed to run down the battery, so not sure how long a charge lasts, but it must be quite a while!
