Everything I Hoped For -- but for one unimportant detail
By Razz on Jan 15, 2021
This litterbox has several great features. 1. I am delighted that even my extra large cat has not had any accidents with this large capacity litterbox. Everything lands inside the deep walls. I love it. 2. I like the way I can lift it easily by the handles. This allows me to raise it to a higher surface where I can scoop it much more easily than when it is on the floor. The handles are strong and make it easy enough to lift with one hand, even for an old lady like me. 3. Although the rounded corners make it a little harder to scoop with a flat edged tool, I found that lifting the litterbox a couple inches and dropping it at a slight angle usually dislodges almost all the stuff in the corners This litterbox has several great features. 1. I also found a scoop with rounded edges that works better than the flat edged kind, so I would recommend buyers of this product to consider doing likewise. 4. It seems very well made. The plastic is very sturdy and instills me with confidence. 5. Even though it is larger than most litterboxes, the flexibility allows you to bend the handles, making it easy to slide under a table, even under a dining room chair. 6. Compared to other products out there, I this price is a real bargain. I feel like my money has been well spent. -- My only criticism is that the color is grey with no other options. Not a big deal, but that is the only thing I can think that might be an improvement. Definitely a good buy, especially if you have a large cat. … more

Great idea, but . . .
By Rozzee on Dec 17, 2020
I bought one for my enclosed litter cabinet. Within first week plastic cracked in the back on the high side. Wanted to give it a chance; liked the idea of the handles and height of the sides/back keeping the cabinet somewhat neat, so ordered a 2nd one for my second cabinet. Day 2 of that one and a handle broke. Eventually it too developed the crack in the back like the first one. By the 5th week, as I was removing the 2nd litter box, crack in back started growing (just like a cracked windshield!) and before I knew it, had a total mess. Ended up replacing both with metal litter boxes. I would not not recommend these until Genie can get a more malleable formula in their plastic composition I bought one for my enclosed litter cabinet. Not As Advertised
By Zeffie on Jan 12, 2021
I'm so disappointed with this purchase - the product was advertised to be flexible and ideal for homes where space is limited. Unfortunately, while the product has ideal flexibility towards the top, its base is very firm and does not give or bend in the slightest. If you have a tight spot that doesn't already fit an extra large litterbox, this product is not for you.

We love the box
By CharlieBrown on Jan 12, 2021
I and Charlie Brown love the box, it works perfectly for him with the high back to make sure he doesn't miss the box. It empties well when needed to be emptied. The only issue I had was one day I was scooping and leaned on the handle a little too much and broke it but the handle still works just not as pretty as when first bought.

Great litter box, not so great material
By Heidi on Jan 2, 2021
I loved this litter box. It's easy to clean and easy to travel with. I take it between my summer house and home all the time. However, the plastic started splitting, and my older cat doesn't get all the way in now and pees out the back:( I really want to get another one, but I know it won't work for me anymore.

BEST LITTER BOX EVERRRRRR!
By Catbird on Nov 29, 2020
The Genie is by far the best litter box ever!!! I have 3 indoor cats and cleaning the litter box was always a dreaded task for me -- that is before I got this super cool egg shaped box! I don't know how it works, but probably because there are no rectangular sides at the base cleaning is super easy! Litter does not get stuck in any crevices which makes the cats' disposal easy to scoop out. If you don't have one, I highly recommend you getting the genie box. I also recently bought a box for my daughter and my mother-in-law (they each have 3 cats as well) and THEY LOVE THE GENIE BOX TOO!

Do not buy this!
By Jessica on Jan 9, 2021
This is a great idea but terrible execution. I bought two because I loved the shape so much. Within 3 months both are cracked and one is unusable. The material can't withstand being bent. I tried fixing the cracks with duct tape until I couldn't anymore.

One of the best.
By Great on Jan 13, 2021
I have 2 sibling cats and they share and have for 10.5 years. This is one of the best litter pans ever. I’ve been through every design and even made my own, but this is a great design and have had it for several months and no issues.

Great design
By Ang421 on Jan 10, 2021
This cat box is a great design and I liked it so much I bought a second one. Unfortunately both have cracked and the only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars. I wouldn't feel as bad about them cracked if they were half the price!

Great concept, poor materials and execution.
By reversion on Dec 5, 2020
This was my very first litter box, and I bought it early-to-mid-April 2020 because of the rave reviews. Kitty has liked it. Me, not so much. It didn’t take long for the handle to break, as observed in other reviews. Then the main body cracked—opposite of the spout—while I poured out the litter. Truly a flawed product. I bought it to make my life easier, but it was outside the return window, so I tried to make the best of the situation and use it as long as possible. The crack recently spread to below-litter-level with a simple jostle of the litter box, so 8 months later I’m looking to get another one.
