I bought this because I was tired of the motor burning out on a competitor's model. I have one cat that uses this "multiple cats" model, and it jams nearly every time he uses it. The rakes don't reach the bottom so there is always a layer of urine soaked caked litter I have to pry up whenever I clean it, which is daily. I spend more time cleaning it than I did with a basic litter pan. I should have just bought another motor.
Switches break easily
I have had 2 of these(different styles) "on" button quit on me now. I never even use the switch. I bought this one 11 months ago and now the "on" side stopped working

I bought this one 11 months ago and now the "on" side stopped working and the "clean" side luckily still does. Another person I know requested a replacement using the 12 months policy and was told she would be getting it, it has been 3 months she was waiting. So hopefully I am able to actually get this replacement!

YUK!!!! A Nightmare! The only thing this litter box does is to allow accumulate soft stool on the blades no matter what type of litter I buy and I have tried several kinds. It has to be scrapped off daily. The blades do not reach the bottom of the pan so the urine packs in the bottom at a depth of 1/4”-1/2”. It has to be removed daily because of the urine smell. When I walk into my home at the end of the day the smell of cat urine and feces hit me in the face. I have 2 young Sphynxs kitties I have used this cat box since I got them about 8-9 months. Hoping it would help to slow down on the tracked litter and be easier to clean. Boy! Was I wrong. Since the blades do not reach the bottom to sift the iron and poop it leaves globs of feces randomly in the box so the cats step in the poop and get it on them and tracks It all over the house. YUK!!! Time for another litter box. Any Suggestions?
So Disappointing
We were so excited at the idea of a self scooping cat box and could not wait to receive our Chewy order but the teeth on the rake broke very soon after we got it
We were so excited at the idea of a self scooping cat box and could not wait to receive our Chewy order but the teeth on the rake broke very soon after we got it. One by one until there was a gap that no longer got cleaned. This was an expensive purchase to only be able to use it for a couple months. My cat isn't very big so I can't imagine how the teeth were breaking off from scooping litter. Would not recommend.
Horrible product
Barely has enough power to scoop, always misses the bottom, gets clogged easy, have tried different litters and it doesnt seem to matter, the motor makes this terrible
Barely has enough power to scoop, always misses the bottom, gets clogged easy, have tried different litters and it doesnt seem to matter, the motor makes this terrible noise and clicking when it's running. Got a natures miracle one, had no problems. Stay away from this brand. 4 pans for 3 cats.

I purchased this in hopes of making my life easier when getting a cat. I got this before I got my cat and finally put it to use and after one month of use it is broken and such a disappointment because it was very expensive and I heard great things. Not sure if there is a way to fix it or not but was really hoping for something that actually worked.
Love this Litter Box!
This litter box is my second litter maid litter box. And just like the old one, It makes cleaning soooo much easier. The receptacles make throwing away smelly litter
This litter box is my second litter maid litter box. And just like the old one, It makes cleaning soooo much easier. The receptacles make throwing away smelly litter a cinch. And the charcoal filters certainly help. In a word the litter Maid is "Puuuurrrrfect".
New and improved???
I had the old style 10 years ago and it was decent. This one is awful. The design changes made it worse! It has to be reset constantly. It doesnt scoop well,

Didn't Last
I bought this in March 2020, I wanted to give it time before review. It started out good. The sound is equal to past models, I didn't find it louder or quieter
I bought this in March 2020, I wanted to give it time before review. It started out good. The sound is equal to past models, I didn't find it louder or quieter. It does run slower which seemed to help it jam less, at first. In the last few months it started sounding like a child's toy machine gun popping loudly as it ran. It started jamming and hanging. Then tonight the motor sounded like metal on metal grinding that actually scared me. I made sure the tracks were clear, removed the scraper, turned it on again and it did the same thing. For fear of potential serious damage or heaven forbid a fire from it, I cut it off. Sadly, the website for registration never allowed me to register the product so I may be out a litter box and the money paid for it. It lasted 7 months. I miss the original littermaid, I wish they would fix the product so it would be worth the money again.

The container for disposal cracks/breaks easy and still, litter gets all over the place & underneath. Finally, I decided to use a regular cat litter box since I was mostly doing the cleaning.
