I set up a roost bar for my chickens but they kept standing on top of their old feeder and defecating in the feed which was pretty nasty. This new feeder has made a big difference sometimes they still hop on top but the auto-spinning feature keeps them from staying there long. The feed stays clean and I can now load enough for my 15 chickens to last 3 days, which saves me time.

the swivel top didnt work for our chickens, guess their heads are too big! but once we took it off it worked well not as much waste and so far they have not used

Too low to the ground
The girls have plenty of space to eat and less pecking one another. They are not able to roost on top ss much as they try! It's a great solution. The cons are few

It's low to the ground and not mountable So the chickens, while scratching around, end up filling it up with their chopped hay. That covers up any available food, making it UNavailable. I still do recommend it. It would be better suited, perhaps, for a run with a sand bottom.

Seems to be a solid alternative to the various plastic feeders out there. I removed the reel-top because my Polish breed chickens had trouble fitting their heads

Feed a lot of chicks at one time
I have 17 chicks and they can all eat at one time. If I dont fill it to the top, they cant fling any food out of the feeder. They cant knock it over or fit in it
