I recently wrote a review, not pleased with how the strings attached to the tube were tied in a tight knot making the tube unable to open. However, Chewy made things right (as usual) and sent me a new tube! My guinea pig loves it and runs laps through it. It's very easy to clean and wrap up. It isn't very sturdy which is why I gave it 4 stars, it rolls or wobbles when my guinea pig walks through it. But overall this is a great product and would buy it again. Thank you Chewy!
They absolutely love their tunnels, that is the only thing I every found they like the play in!!
We got the medium and large for our ferret babies and they love them. So far, they haven't chewed a hole in it either so that's great as they are chewers for sure!
My small (4.5 pound) rabbit loves this tunnel! Folds up quickly and easy to clean.
I bought this tunnel for my two adult guinea pigs. Since they are a little large, this tunnel accommodated them very well. They race through it and also chill out in it. After cage cleaning, this tunnel is the first thing they head for because they enjoy the sound it makes as they run through. I like that it is easy to clean, too.
The large (blue) tunnel was among the first purchases I made when setting up a home for my rabbit. And although the buying guide suggests the medium-size tunnel for dwarf rabbits (my guy is between 2.5 and 3 pounds), I'm glad I went with the large one. He's got plenty of room to play and he uses it. While I'll rotate some of his playthings in and out of his play area, the tunnel never gets folded up and put away because it's something he always uses. During the day, it's a favorite hideout spot. In the evenings, he'll zoom through. I can also turn it into a digging toy by stuffing hay or crumpled paper in the middle and he gets a lot of enjoyment from that. The polyester ties that you use to secure the tunnel to the side of an enclosure will be the first things to go, so you'll either have to make some repairs or figure out another way to stabilize the tunnel. (My guy was quick to nip those.) But otherwise, it has held up really well to lots of use. And I love how compact it is when it's folded up and stored in the accompanying carry bag. On the rare occasion that I need to travel with my rabbit, it comes along with us.
I purchased this item for a 9-foot play pen and this tunnel fits with enough clearance. The velcro flaps allow you to contort the tunnel, and it stays contorted/velcroed after collapsing and reopening. When collapsing, the fabric string pairs on each end slips away with one knot, so a tight double knot is recommended. I dislike removing the pair of double knots each time I use this item. My sweetheart Charles is a big-boned and his quick waddling in the tunnel causes the tunnel to shift viciously. For this, I recommend placing the tunnel alongside a wall, or have one side supported by a heavy item for their comfort. My baby urinated in the tunnel and I successfully cleaned it with dish soap and water. I do not feel comfortable putting this spunky item in a washing machine. The compact travel bag is wonderful. Overall, three stars because of the double knotting, and its ultra lightweightness making my baby feel self-conscious.
Perfect size for my ferret. She loves to run through it and pop her head out the hole to say hello.
The buns love it! Cute little place in the center where they can pop their heads up
My piggy loves this tunnel but have to watch because he started chewing on the ties & inside!
