Leaky Lixit is horrible

Not Worth it ,Very Cheap ,This water Bottle is NOTHING but a Headache & waste, not Very Pleased & No clear way 2 put wire that goes to Bottom part ,I absolutely Regret getting this water Bottle...Shame on u Lixit & Chewy

Didn't like at all. Left a puddle in the crate. Won't be using or recommending.

Leaks

I took it on vacation and it leaked was useless. It arrived the day before we left didn’t test it had to put a bowl in the cage for the dog and you know how that works. Suppose I would have returned to see if it was a dud but no time.

Dumped on my carpet...More than 1x

The water bottle will not mount on the crate and the wire used to mount it is easily bent. I followed the directions and spent over 1 hr trying to make it work. I'm usually quite handy and I couldn't get this to work. I rigged it but the whole 64 oz has spilled on my carpet a number of times -each time I'm not home so it had time to soak deep in the carpet. The first one I thought must have been defective so Chewy sent me a replacement. The second was the same. I'm no longer going to try to make it work. People are also mentioning how it leaks. Yes, it is very finiky. If you follow the directions it usually works. There are a lot of steps but once you get the hang of it, it should be okay...UNLESS you have a dog that might budge it. Then the angle and pressure change and once again it will leak. I don't like the Lixit brand but this was the 3rd water bottle I have tried. I wish someone would design a better bottle that won't be damaged by large dogs or chewy puppies.

Poor quality

Water bottle leaks constantly, emptying the entire contents in a short time despite adjustments and changes in position. It was also very difficult to mount. I wasted nearly an hour more than once attempting to secure it to the crate before asking my significant other (who is very adept at such practical things). Even he took much longer than I would expect to mount it, but no matter how it was adjusted the water basically poured out of the tip. Total waste of money.

Leaked slowly no matter what we tried...

I had high hopes for this, followed the instructions closely (how hard could it be) filled bottle, tightly screwed on cap, allowed a vacuum to form over the sink... then proceeded to watch as drops of water slowly formed and dripped in my pups crate for the next 15 minutes with no sign of stopping... Tested seals, did everything I could think of to fix this, finally gave up, will be returning the product.

Really didn't work

Barely lasted and now doesn't really hold water. We have had it for less than 3 months and one just pours water out of the spout.

Water bottles leak

No matter what I do these water bottles just leak and leak. I have to put bowls under them to catch the water. Defeats the purpose of using water bottles.

Bought two for my rabbit cages and both leak constantly.

I guess I should have listened to the reviews on this thing. :( It leaks so bad!! It’s a big jug to leak out all that water in my new puppy’s crate! :( Don’t buy it! It’s terrible!
