I don't know if it's because I have young, female guinea pigs, who maybe aren't fully grown yet, but this brush seemed a little big for them. I wish there was a smaller one with a handle. I probably won't use it. I really just needed the nail clippers. The nail clippers seem ok, but I haven't used those either because my guinea pigs are still too scared! But I will hopefully use it eventually!

I got these to replace a different pair of nail cutters for my ferrets that had dulled and was excited about the brush. The clippers were actually worse and caused more splitting on my ferret's nails than the clippers I was replacing (at their dullness) and the brush was too plastic-y and rough so my other ferret with plush fur didn't like it. It could possibly work well on a different animal. It was not a good fit for my ferrets though.

it’s springtime which means all the fur babies in my house are shedding. so on the look i went for a shedding brush for my bunny and i found this one. i’m glad i did because it works excellent. the bristles are soft plastic and not sharp. not too soft though. it picks up hair really well and i’ve already got a massive chunk of hair off my bunny first use. highly recommend!! i cant comment on the clippers since i have yet to use them but the brush is perfect
