This is a valve bottle, it is very important your pet is trained to use it before removing other water source. To assist in training, you can put strawberry jam, honey or peanut butter on the lever end to encourage pet to lick. Hand wash weekly, a bottle brush is recommended to clean grooves. Weekly unscrew drinking nozzle and pressing lever side to side run a stream of water through to remove any build up. When mounting bottle make sure bottle sides are not touching cage as some pets will reach through and chew on the bottle.
This is the best dropper I have ever used. The bulb is soft and flexible, easy to use.
This is perfect for medicine I had to give to my cat. Easy to fill & measure. Worked great.
Handy syringe and dropper set. Nice to have on hand for small animals. Use for medicine or small feedings.
I ordered this dropper to use when giving my cat a liquid medicine everyday. Unfortunately it is too large to fit through the opening of the bottle so I can’t use it or the syringe which is even larger. And I opened the package so I can’t return it. At least it wasn’t too expensive. Live & learn!
I had ordered some meds for my cat, Bella, and immediately lost the syringe. I called Chewy late at night, and was greeted by a very friendly woman. I told her I really needed to give my cat her meds and needed the syringe not realizing they had different kinds of syringes. This looks good, but I haven't used it--it's still in the package unopened.
I needed an oral syringe for administering fish oil to my fur baby. I selected this item because of the measurements noted on the syringe and dropper. Unfortunately, after the first wash, the print just wiped off. If dosage measurements are important, I wouldn’t suggest this. If you’re just looking for something to get the medicine in, then this may suffice.
I had another dropper for giving medicine to my dog but this one works better and the markers have held up well after a few weeks of use so far.
I was looking for a tiny syringe to feed my little guinea pig his critical care. This was way too big and most of the critical care went everywhere but his into his mouth. I just needed something smaller. I'll still save this in case I need it for my cat.
My Vet sells me the medications for my 16 yr. old cat, she has CHF & needs a dose morning & another in the evening. While the quality is not super, the syringe does hold the crushed & dissolved pills so I can get them into her! I have tried just putting the pill in her mouth and waiting till she swallows; only to find the pill on the floor later, not doing her any good at all. Got to watch her every minute!
We have various droppers from meds of the past, but most only go to 1ml, syringes I think 3ml. So these work out well for any needed larger dosage. I will say that the dropper in this set tends to leak; at least the one I received does. Especially with the very I-didn't-know-it-was-watery medicine I purchased, a feline Kaopectate. But, if inverted until you get it to the patient, it works out OK.
