Lone Wolf Ranch Power Foods Complete Beef Freeze-Dried Dog Food, 24-oz bag

Since getting our 2 standard Golden Doodles, two and a half years ago, I have cooked food for them to supplement a high quality kibble dog food and keep their diet healthy. I've continued to look for a commercial healthy dog food to replace the kibble but most are too expensive. My boy is 128 pounds and my girl is 91. So, when I saw this offer I jumped on it. I love this food because the ingredients are just what I have been looking for to replace the kibble I have fed them thus far. It is beef, beef heart, beef kidney, beef liver, cartilage, marrow and a bunch of other supplements. Just what I would give them if I had access to the individual products locally. My dogs loved it and ate it without hesitation. I could tell they liked it better than the kibble I was feeding them because they came to the bowls as soon as I put it out for them and ate every bit then looked for more. Because of their size, the recommended amount was 2.5 to 3.25 cups per day per 90-lb. dog. I wanted the food to last so, I fed them a cup of the Lone Wolf Beef and added my homemade food to complete the meal. The bag that was sent lasted for 2.5 days, feeding both dogs a cup of the Lone Wolf and a cup of my homemade food two times per day. After the first day, I noticed their poops were smaller and more formed. Fortunately, they had no stomach issues with the change in food for only a few days because I had no time to wean them into the new food. I couldn't be happier with this product and WISH I could feed this to my dogs for every meal. Unfortunately, I cannot. The largest bag offered on the market is 24 ounces of VERY CONCENTRATED beef dog food, with a recommendation of feeding 2.5 - 3.25 cups per dog per day. One 24 ounce bag is only 7 meals per dog, feeding half the recommended daily amount for a 90 pound dog. Both of my dogs are more than 90 pounds and, at $42.99 per 24 oz. bag, it would cost me $380+ per dog per month. I just can't afford that. For someone with a smaller dog or only one large dog, it might be doable. But, in my situation, I just cannot, even though I wish I could. This is just the food I have been looking for, for them. I DO recommend this food because it is very healthy and I want to keep my dogs healthy.
