My girl loves these mushroom scratchers! Every surface is enticing for a scratch session. She loves to rub her face all over the grassy part on the bottom - even more so when I hide a lil catnip in the grass. The only downside is that it's a bit small and she can't access the scratch stem on the smaller mushroom very well. She's 11 years old and pretty petite, so a bigger cat might have more difficulty with it. Overall, it is loved though!

Jonesy loves to scratch on one of the bigger cat trees we have after she has a her little roll in her catnip tub but we recently put this scratcher in the tub with her and she love to roll around in the fake grass and then go ham on the mushrooms. Robin hops in there occasionally but isnt a huge catnip lover like her sister so she doesnt use it quite as much but she does like to scratch the very top of the bigger mushroom since it stick out of the tub a bit!
great for kittens or really small cats
The box contained a lot of dirt - no idea why. This scratching post is very small. My 9 pound cat easily flips it over when using it. Not ideal. It looked larger

Mystery Black Dust
Just put this together, cats haven't found it yet. But during unpacking and assembly there was black dust coming off the base! I've never had that happen before

I had this less than 24 hours and my Cat has vomited the grass twice. Instead of the fake grass maybe just make the rope green on the base. This is too bad because it really is a very cool scratcher.
The color is not the same
I got this just because of my wall color. I thought the pinkish color would match my walls. It’s fricking brown dude. Smh

Topples over fairly easily!
My kitties are no longer interested as when this was being played with toppled over and kicked back abruptly hitting him on the side of his head! He avoids it completely

He avoids it completely now so it's on the patio in case he changes his mind next year!! This would be OK for a kitten based on weight and size I would imagine.
