I purchased this lotion along with a competitor's spray on sunscreen. My white pittie did not like the spray on - the sound, the random "liquid" on her head - plus it didn't squire consitently - so I donated it to my local shelter. This lotion, on the other hand, works consistently and she is patient with the ear massage every morning here in California! It isn't greasy and, unlike the spray on sunscreen which didn't provide complete coverage, hasn't gotten the sores that she got last year.

I tried a different one last summer and she’d run when she saw the bottle, but she doesn’t mind me putting this one on her at all. A small amount goes a long way and seems to last several hours, while she cooks herself in the glorious sun!

Sunburn nose

Nella is the younger of a pair of bonded dogs I'm fostering, and I was curious if her adorable pink snout could get sunburned like my own not-so-adorable pink skin, especially in the Carolina sun which she loves to bathe in. Stays on very well!! My other dogs are not interested in licking it off, Yay!!! It doesn’t smell, also Yay!! I have a dog with genetic hairlessness with part of his skin gray and the other part pink. The pink areas are very susceptible to sunburn with minimal exposure. What a godsend to find this product without zinc (which can be toxic to dogs) and actually works. I just wish you sold it in much larger tubes or pump lotion bottles as he uses this everyday!!
