This E collar is not the best. The beep is a good signal for bad behavior. The vibrate helps my puppy semi stop what she’s doing but the shock has to be up pretty
This E collar is not the best. The beep is a good signal for bad behavior. The vibrate helps my puppy semi stop what she’s doing but the shock has to be up pretty high for her to even feel anything. It also doesn’t hold a charge that great. Comes loose on the puppy (7/8 month old Dutch shepherd) and when adjusted the extra strap is way too long, I had to cut some of it off. I was advised to buy the $200 collar instead and I can see why. Maybe bc of the type of dog. This collar is priced for what it’s worth.
Shock stopped working after two months
Bought it worked fine for the first month or two but then noticed that dog wasn't responding when shock button was hit tested using unit that comes with it and shock

I shocked myself a few times, trying to test it with my hand instead of putting the test light on the prongs.
Love that the shock button locks
When I lost the previous collar's remote, I decided to try to find one that locked ONLY the shock button, not ALL the buttons. This collar fit the bill. I like
When I lost the previous collar's remote, I decided to try to find one that locked ONLY the shock button, not ALL the buttons. This collar fit the bill. I like that the shock button can be locked, the vibration mode goes very high, but the noise doesn't. (Not a big fan of that.) Since my main objective was to find a collar where there wouldn't be any accidental shocks, this one was perfect and, so far, does a fantastic job.
Works well over reasonable distances. My dog responds well to the vibrate.
My only issue is that I can too easily accidentally change the channel on the transmitter. I now realize I would like a lanyard on the transmitter.
