I did not read the description of this coat closely enough and was shocked to discover it closes with a zipper along the dog's belly. Hard to imagine wrestling a

I did not read the description of this coat closely enough and was shocked to discover it closes with a zipper along the dog's belly. Hard to imagine wrestling a long zipper on the underside of my Staffi. Then discovered I could not zip it even off the dog. Whether it is my arthritic fingers or a faulty design, it is being donated to my local rescue.

My dog hates the rain. I bought her and her brother one of these. The zipper is really hard to work and I had to take it off, try to zip and unzip, the. Put it back on and try again. It’s a plastic zipper and hard to work. This is why I took off a star. The material for the rest of the coat is sturdy, thick, waterproof, beautiful and reversible.

Zipper not practical for my dog

Love the coat, super cute. The zipper is an issue because of my dog's longer fur and getting her to sit still so I can line it up and zipper it without it catching

Love the coat, super cute. The zipper is an issue because of my dog's longer fur and getting her to sit still so I can line it up and zipper it without it catching on her fur. So I just added a velcro closure. Would also be nice if the hood was detachable.
