YES!

For the last year or so my senior (11 years) dog has been struggling with some type of spine/shoulder issue that causes her to limp and hold up her paw. All X-rays come out normal, no signs of arthritis. The only thing that has helped in the past is prednisone and gabapentin for pain. Every time we wean off the prednisone, within a few weeks, it seems we’re back to the limping. I have been so desperate for something other than steroids that will provide a long-term solution and this light therapy device is IT! I was skeptical at first but after 3-5 treatments she was already showing so much progress. I bought this device 2 weeks ago and her limp is already completely gone and we are back to her usual walks, running, jumping, and playing like she used to. I truly feel that this device has greatly enhanced her quality of life and I love that I can do it from the comfort of my own home. I couldn’t be happier with our results so far.

Just Not Sure

Not sure how to fairly rate this product. In the time used, I didn't notice any improvement in my cat. To be fair, she wasn't willing to sit for the full suggested 15 mins at any point multiple times a day. And, not that 15 mins is a long time, but holding it in place (for her knees and elbows) starts to feel like a chore (I know, I'm whining). I used it on myself, and while I know that she and I are completely different, I actually didn't feel any warming sensation until the 15-min mark...so I'm not sure if that's important or not (I read that with cold laser therapy some people feel a warm sensation while others do not). My vet actually recommended the Assisi Loop. Unfortunately it has a limited-use life and would be destined for the landfill. Big strike. Plus the price for a throw-away product wasn't endearing either. I did purchase a rechargeable PEMF mat (yes, I know it isn't laser like the LumaSoothe2) which is very easy to use and seems to be making a difference with my cat. There are times when she walks up and plops herself on to it. All I have to do is turn on the program. Because LumaSoothe isn't conducive to working with my particular feline, I'm going to return it.

Easy and Effective

I started using LumaSoothe to augment the cold laser and acupuncture treatments my 16 yo doxie receives from our vet. This product is so easy to use and I notice significant improvement in his mobility. He seems to be in less pain (or no pain) and it has enabled me to increase the duration between his vet appointments. Highly recommend!
