The Lumi Pawtners flashlight/waste bag holder feels good in the hands, doesn't feel cheap like most of them on the market. I had one before this that wasn't rechargeable, it felt cheap and you had to smack it on your leg to get it to work. I paid $10 for that one but this Lumi version is worth every penny! I like that it comes with a strap so you can secure the body to the leash, if you don't want it flapping around. The cap can be put on in a few different directions, I really liked that I was able to put it in a location so when I grab it to turn it on, my thumb locates the power buttons instantly! The flashlight is very bright, even on the 50% setting. I honestly wish it had a lower 25% setting (or a fading dimmer) but the red setting helps make up for this. It has 2 power buttons, one runs white spot light (100% & 50%) and spot strobe while the other runs a flood light (100% & 50%) red flood, and red strobe flood. You can use any of the spot modes at the same time as any of the flood modes for increased visibility, versatility, and awareness. I included pictures so you can preview the brightness of each mode. The cap has lettering that says "DIMMER" with left and right arrows before/after it but don't see anything to twist or any mention in the instructions. Do not try and twist the lens, it does turn but it only contains the bulb and other electrical connections. The flashlight comes with a usb-c charging cable but the instructions do not tell you when it's fully charged. I can confirm that the power buttons glow red when charging and turn green when complete. With all the rewards points I'm earning as a Chewy+ Member, I was able to use my points and pay only $6 for this light/bag holder!!! Plus you always receive free shipping as a Chewy+ member, keeping costs even lower! The product comes in its own box but instead of shipping it another box with protection, they shipped it in a bag with no extra padding. When I opened the bag, I noticed the product box was wrinkled and open at the bottom. Luckily the light/bag holder had a foam insert to help protect it. When I first removed the flashlight from the bag holder, the magnets fell right out because they barely used any glue. There's twist locking tabs on the light so the magnets are not necessary, unless you plan on sticking it to something metal, but they do offer additional security. I simply used some strong glue and it was as good as new. It was for those reasons that I couldn't give it 5 stars but I absolutely would recommend this to anyone who has late night walks like me. The light is powerful enough to identify things from a distance and with the strobe feature, it would be helpful for blinding potential threats or signaling for help!
