How do I choose the right length for my pet?

Our small pet leashes are available in 4-foot and 6-foot lengths. Consider the distance from your hand to your pet’s walking gear when selecting a length and how much freedom vs. control you wish to have. A leash can always be shortened by holding it closer. Our 1/2” wide leashes are designed for small dogs, cats and other pets, up to 20 lbs.

How do I clean the leash?

To clean your LupinePet gear, spot-clean, machine or hand wash with warm (not hot) water and mild soap. No bleach, brighteners or whiteners. Air dry only – do not put them in the dryer. For extreme situations, pre-soaking in an enzymatic cleaner like Nature’s Miracle or Simple Solution may be helpful. When machine washing, put items in a mesh bag or include items in with jeans or other sturdy clothes. Shampoos and other topical treatments that contain bleaching agents, clarifiers, medicines or other chemicals can cause colors to transfer to your pet’s fur. When washing your pets gear, bathing your pet or applying any of the above, we recommend that their gear be removed until the items and/or your pet’s fur are completely dry.

Is this leash chew-proof?

While made from strong and durable materials, this leash is not chew-proof. If your dog is prone to chewing, we recommend storing it out of reach when not in use. However, we know accidents happen, which is why we back our products with our famous GUARANTEED (Even if Chewed)® warranty.
