I like the wider straps on this harness. My little escape artist seems to have more difficulty working one of her legs out. I found it fairly easy to adjust the length of the straps, and they seem to stay put when you get them where you want them. My dog has a 16 in chest, and I bought the harness for dogs with 15 in as the smallest size. It fits her well. The harness is well made and should last a long time.

Straps too stiff and edges too sharp

Design of this harness is good, but the material for the straps is too stiff and edges too sharp. Previous reviewer showed how it chafed her short-haired dog. I

Design of this harness is good, but the material for the straps is too stiff and edges too sharp. Previous reviewer showed how it chafed her short-haired dog. I think it might also cut fur of long-furred dogs. If I can't find a way to soften the straps, especially the edges, I'll return it.

Good quality; maybe too rough for short-haired dogs

I have two of these harnesses and the fit is nice. The only issue is it's chafing my short-haired dog's chest. My long-haired dog doesn't seem to be having any problem

I have two of these harnesses and the fit is nice. The only issue is it's chafing my short-haired dog's chest. My long-haired dog doesn't seem to be having any problem. I'm going to add some fleece to the chest strap so we can continue to use the harness comfortably.
