Instructions
Easy cleanup with a damp cloth. For tougher jobs, hand wash in warm water with mild dish soap using a brush or cloth. Wipe or air dry. BioThane-coated webbing can even be cleaned with disinfecting wipes. To disinfect, choose one of the following:
• A 10% bleach solution (6.5% active ingredient bleach, diluted at 1 part bleach to 9 parts water).
• Envirocide® or Cavicide® (follow label directions). We’re not endorsing these products—only confirming they won’t harm BioThane when used properly! P.S. Shampoos and other topical treatments containing bleaching agents, clarifiers, medicines, or other chemicals may cause color transfer to your pet’s fur. When washing your pet’s gear, bathing your pet, or applying any of the above, we recommend removing their gear until both the items and your pet’s fur are completely dry.

Sizing:
The most accurate way to choose the correct size range and ensure a proper fit is to measure your dog. A fabric dressmaker’s tape measure is easiest and most accurate. Or, you can use a piece of string and then measure that. You'll want to measure your dog’s girth (around the ribcage at the widest point) comfortably snug against the fur while your dog is standing. Take the actual measurement and add 5% to determine the best size range. This harness is 3/4’’ wide and available in three adjustable sizes: 12-20”, 14-24”, and 20-32”. Please note that all items are handmade. Because every item is cut and sewn by hand, here at our workshop in New Hampshire, it is possible that there will be some variance in our size measurements.
Unbuckle the clasp on the girth strap. The strap with the D-ring should be on top with the D-ring pointing towards the tail. Place the two adjustable shoulder straps over the dog’s head. Pick up the dogs left front paw and place over the sternum strap, so that the strap passes between the front legs. Adjust and buckle the girth strap, this strap should be supported by the rib cage all the way around. Adjusting the shoulders smaller will shorten the front-to-back length of the harness. Adjust the sternum strap to a comfortably snug fit. If you’re unfamiliar with this type of harness, watch our step-by-step guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQVpureyykI
Use the non-slip tri-glide adjusters to tighten or loosen the harness. Push the webbing through the slider to create excess material, then pull it through on the other side to adjust. The molded teeth in the adjusters keep it securely in place, ensuring a snug yet comfortable fit.
