Best Cat Treat!

Sam loves this cat treat. He has to eat prescription pate food that he isn't too crazy about, and I top it with a couple of pieces of this treat. He eats the whole thing and now I don't have to worry about him getting a urinary tract infection. I will say this treat has a very strong fish odor that cats like. I jokingly tell Sam I'm giving him a couple pieces of piranha. (lol). This treat has been a life saver for Sam, and it contains Quality products. I highly recommend it.

Great, but smelly

I received the Made by Nacho Freeze-Dried Wild Alaskan Salmon Cat Treats as a FREE sample. Both of my cats enjoyed the treats and sat waiting for more. They seem healthier than other treats available, which I liked. However, the smell is awful and very strong hence the 4 stars instead of 5. If you can hold your breath while you feed your cat, these are a great option.

The Stench

Holy cow do these smell! As soon as I open the pouch it was intense. Husband could smell it in the other room it was so strong. The cats on the other hand, loved them and couldn't get enough. Every one of them gobbled them up. They were a little hesitant about the texture as I don't think most of them have tried freezed dried treats before. I would recommend but only in the non fish varieties unless that doesn't bother you but you were warned. They are a little pricey so would probably rather just keep giving them homemade boiled chicken as treats instead. Do love that they are natural and nothing added as well as the freeze dried lasting longer.

I received a sample of this product to try for free. I'm personally not a fan of fish, so the strong smell upon opening the package was a turn-off for me, but my cats were immediately intrigued. My two older cats loved these treats, one cat grabbing her treat and taking it to another room where she wouldn't be disturbed with her prize, and the other cat begging for more as she hastily gobbled up whatever I sat down. Our newest kitten, who's almost a year old, wouldn't have anything to do with the treats, though. I even tried breaking them into smaller pieces, on several occasions. I do like that these are a healthier option for my cats!

Heathier than other options

I was pleasantly surprised at how well my cat liked these treats. Usually he only eats mousse treats and this was his first time having a solid treat. The consistency was just like you'd think without being overly tough for my cat to chew. It took him a few bites but there was never a mess left behind. I didn't feel like there was a bad smell and I only ever noticed any smell when opening the ziploc close pouch. The treats stayed fresh in the package and there was never a smell left in my home afterwards. I would recommend to others looking for an all natural, simple, single ingredient treat which my cat loves. I will purchase in the future after receiving this pouch as a free sample in exchange for my honest opinion.

Good product

I received a free sample of the Made by Nacho Freeze Dried Wild Alaskan Salmon cat treats. My cat is a very picky eater. I was worried he wouldn’t like these, but he really did like them! He rubs his head on the package and meows when he wants a treat, which is several times a day! I really like they are made with real salmon... much better for my cat!

Texture hard for cats to eat

I received this item free to sample, views are my own. The smell is very strong and as such kind of unpleasant (but it's fish so kind of goes with the territory). Both our cats were drawn by the smell and eagerly took a piece. They both had a hard time chewing to eat. One required aid because it stuck to her teeth and she didn't want to eat it until it was broken in tiny pieces. Are other cat had the same issue but tried to just swallow it which was scary to listen too. Would recommend breaking pieces smaller to give to your cat, at least the first time while they get used to the unusual texture.

Cats had nothing to do with it

I am always willing to try new things and I received this item as a free sample. My cats had no interest in these. They basically sniffed it and walked away. Didnt lick it or anything. It may be enjoyed by other cats but both of my cats didn't even try it.

Healthy treat for the cat

I would recommend these cat treats if you are looking for a healthier alternative for your cat. These treats have only one ingredient: salmon. I like knowing that what I'm feeding my cat is healthy for her and not filled with tons of artificial ingredients she doesn't need, so these treats are perfect for us. She also seems to really enjoy these treats! I give her two every morning and she eats them right away. The only negative I would mention is the smell, they definitely smell like fish (although this is understandable considering the treats are made from real salmon).

Cat goes nuts for these

My kitty loves these. He knows what I have before I give them. They have a strong smell so he can smell them pretty good. He will coming running when he hears the bag. Only thing I wish you got more big pieces. Sometimes a lot of very small pieces.
