after 1 use the hay net was unraveled in three places, bits of nylon pulled apart, and black rope for hanging also unraveled. This is a potential hazard for horses if ingested. I will hopefully be able to return,/ refund. Also openening to fill net was very small making it difficult even with a hay helper to load net. cannot recommend this product.
Great quality for the price!

The ring on the bottom is super cool, helps keep it a round shape and is easy to clip to something to keep it stable. For the price, they are a great quality. My only complaint is that they are pretty hard to stuff until they kind of wear and break in a bit. I use mine double netted inside each other to really slow mine down.

These hay nets are sturdy! When they come out of the package you’ll need to stretch them out because they seem like they won’t fit a lot of hay. I did have a little bit of a hard time when I filled it the first time, but that’s because the material is thick, again, not flimsy. Once you get it stretched out, the metal ring on the bottom will hold the shape. I tie mine up for lunch hay to stretch it out so my mare is eating all day, but not able to chow it down in an hour. The holes in the net are perfect for very slow feeding. Definitely recommend for a horse that needs to slow down their hay intake.
Terrible bags!
Terrible! Very small. No way 2 flakes of hay would fit into these bags. Completely non-usable!

This net isn't wide enough to get a flake of hay into! It stretches around a regular household cleaning bucket (11 inches diameter). The picture shows the new net (blue) stretched as far as it will go. Under the blue net is one of my old yellow nets, also stretched. My old nets stretch around a muck bucket or a 30 gal trash can. Don't waste you time/money on these nets unless you plan to stuff the net with hay one handful at a time.

These nets are great for slowing down the intake of hay and reducing waste. I have some fat ponies and this way they are eating slowly, mimicking grazing in a poor pasture, which is just what they need in their porky condition. The price is very economical, I just hope that they last.
