The last few orders the wafers were like rocks
I had these on auto ship. I threw one in each of my horse's food. Over time when I would open the bag I received I noticed the wafers were hard like rocks and not soft. They looked faded out compared to the ones received before. I gave it awhile but it looked like this was the new normal so I decided to go with another product. I agree with the other reviewers when they said their animals wouldn't eat them. At first I would have to crumble them (impossible when they started arriving like rocks, but no worries because by that time the horses were eating them without having to crumble.) After the wafers started arriving like rocks, the feed pans would be empty when I went to collect, so apparently they still ate them. I just like them better when they have some bend to them.
Horse won’t eat!
My horse will not touch this item. Have tried masking it with other treats and flavors and he still won’t touch it!! Has no peppermint smell.
Amazing!!!!
We own a dog boarding business and recommended to try these by a client. I have a bassett/beagle mix who has awful hip problems. We give him 1/8 of a wafer every morning and these have helped tremendously! He has been on them for a couple of months now and they have worked wonders. I wont give him anything else for supplements now!!
Keeping "Kal Kan" happy
Great supplement, have been using it for my 24 year old gelding for a few years now. Keeps him happy and comfortable so we can still enjoy the trails. Order arrived so fast!!!!
Disappointed
Was very disappointed that after spending $40 on these wafers, my horse refused to eat them. Several other horses in the barn also refused them, so obviously they don't taste good. The whole point in this supplement is to make sure your horse is getting it, but in reality every horse we offered these to refused them, so therefore huge waste of money. Do not reccomend.

My horses didn't consistently eat them. I often found the pieces of wafer on the floor.

I loved the idea of a treat to give, but my horses will not eat them. And when I put it over their food they don't eat all their food.

Didn't like
Unfortunately, I finally found something my horse would not eat. Couldn't even roll it up in honey and Oates. He wasn't having it.
Horse likes
So far the horse likes the taste and I think this combined with a pure msm supplement has helped my horse with her arthritis in her hocks. The swelling has gone down and she's moving better. Not perfect buy much improved.
