How soft is this toy? Is it very firm or does it have some give/squish?

Right out of the package, it is a little stiff but it's soft to the touch and I know from experience that it softens/relaxes with use. After a good shaking or just letting your dog play with it, it loses that out-of-the-box toughness.

Very Rugged & Sturdy

This 5 knot rope is very sturdy- well made- the length is listed in the size but not the width- it is thick- too thick for our Lab. The knots are 10 inches diameter

This 5 knot rope is very sturdy- well made- the length is listed in the size but not the width- it is thick- too thick for our Lab. The knots are 10 inches diameter and the rope itself is a bit over 4 inches diameter. (pics attached) I called to return it- however, the nice surprise was that Chewy did not require me to return it for a refund- they suggested I donate it to a dog shelter- which is what I will do- Great customer service and loved the donate suggestion!

Shouldn’t have purchased

It’s probably not the manufacturer’s fault but I should not have bought this toy. I have a 31 pound poodle mix who had this ropeshredded in less than 20 minutes

It’s probably not the manufacturer’s fault but I should not have bought this toy. I have a 31 pound poodle mix who had this ropeshredded in less than 20 minutes. I had to throw it in the trash. It is made of strings that could be very dangerous to dog‘s insides. Period I simply should not have purchased this. I did not realize it would be made of just strings clumped together.

5 knot dog rope

The fiber blend has taken a good chewing and even though it has shredded in places, the fibers are not tearing out as prolifically as the others. Arlo is still teething

The fiber blend has taken a good chewing and even though it has shredded in places, the fibers are not tearing out as prolifically as the others. Arlo is still teething and has one last upper canine to dislodge. This has provided the best floss for that so far

No good deed goes unpunished!

The rope itself is great - not exactly destructible - and my pup has fun playing tug-of-war with it. However, small rope strings seem to get stuck in her throat

This is a very good tug toy for a large dog. It is very strong and no way my 90 lb German Shepherd can bite through it or break it playing. Also plenty of room
