If I could give NO stars, I would. I bought it for my GSD pup turning 1yo for her birthday. She had it ten minutes, it was destroyed. She ate a bunch of the strands, the rest were strewn around the carpet. Do not recommend at all. What a waste of money.
My 7 month old weim was able to shred pieces of this as well as untie one of the knots. He’s still enjoying after we attempted to retie. I wouldn’t recommend if you have a dog that prefers to chew vs play tug o war.
Our 80-pound mix loves this rope. Whether he’s chewing on it or playing tug of war with us, it’s his go-to option for play-time. This rope can keep him occupied for a long time. It’s very durable.
Our dogs love these ropes. Unfortunately they get shredded pretty quickly. Both our dogs sit and chew on the ropes. One bites and shreds. Love them.
I was really excited for this as I read many reviews stating that this was pretty durable. Unfortunately within literally a minute my 6 month old Siberian Husky had a mouthful of the end strings in her mouth and swallowed them. She is not a super powerful chewer at all. As a matter of fact she has a couple of other much smaller rope toys from Chewy and she has not managed to get any strings loose at all. I bought this one thinking it would be great for tugging around and for when her chewing is more intense. If your dog focuses on the knots, maybe it wouldn't be as bad or if you only used it for tug. But, the ends are so thin and easy to chew through. It's dangerous.
Saw this toy was recommended somewhere so I got it for my dogs. It's bigger than them. My boys 25lbs and he ran from it. Was thinking it would be half this size but I obviously didn't pay close enough attention.
I thought this toy was going to have my dog tugging for a while and it only lasted 2 days before it was undone. It was perfect in size but not strong
I ordered this for our 9 month old Lab. While this is great for playing tug and fetch, it's not meant for power chewers. She immediately started chewing it apart in the middle. After only 2 hours of chewing, we now have 2 separate ropes. I was hoping it would last longer. So now we use the longer section for tug, and the shorter one for fetch in the house. When she chews it big sections of the string come off so we don't leave it out for her to chew too long.
My dogs love it. It's pretty durable too! My bully usually tears these up within the first day & it's still going strong!
I have not found a toy yet that could stand up to my 65 lb Pitbull Sushi. This toy fits the bill! I rescued a Pitsky puppy & wanted something that they could play with together that would be long lasting. They absolutely love it! This toy is strong and will stand up to an aggressive chewer. Definitely would recommend!
