Not a very user-friendly nesting box

First, the color photo on the box which would have helped me immensely, was covered by the address label! The tools needed said, screwdriver and a 5/16" socket or wrench. Those were useless since the 516 socket was too big. Don't know why a screwdriver was needed. I ended up using a Phillips screwdriver and a pair of pliers to secure the nut while I screwed! I didn't like the sharp edges either and after two hours, I gave up! It was not fun Trying to put this nesting box together. I would rather have built a wooden nesting box which would have taken me maybe 40 minutes to cut and screw. By the way, there were no hanging brackets Inan closed. I do not recommend.
Great nest box
Really not fun to put together. It took my son and I an hour to put it together. At least these boxes donβt fall apart.

We have been using an old tote with a hole cut out as our nesting box, so this was a great upgrade! Overall a nice nesting but install was not the easiest. Pros: -There are two bottom pieces that come out for easy cleaning. -The steel that the chickens feet touch has been smoothed to avoid scratched feet/bumble foot. -The weight of this product is pretty light so it was easy to install in our coop. -We have a variety of small and large chickens that are all happy with their upgraded nesting box. -Nice ventilation to help with the heat in the summer months. Cons: -Our specific box showed up damaged. Anyone that has chickens knows that they make a huge mess so a little dent did not matter to us. -Putting the nesting box together was not easy. The black and white sheet of paper had very little indications on which way the parts belong. We got the product together, but step 4 and 5 took a couple tries getting the parts going in the right direction.
Truly a good buy

This nesting box is actually bigger than i excepted which is nice.. you do have to assemble yourself and the instructions are terrible and very vague as shown in the pics, but fairly easy to assemble looking at the pictures. im disappointed that there is no bottem to the box so im forced to have on the ground. As the nesting " tray" doesnt stay in, there is nothing to keep it from falling down (it did come with wall mounts) so im going to get a board and screw to the bottom. There is also no back but that is great for extra air flow. My 10 hens insist on fighting over the same nesting box so i was hoping they would enjoy this option and they truly do from day 1 they started using it.. truly a good buy!
Couldn't get it apart to even try it
Couldn't get the panels apart to even test it out. Sliced my finger on the side trying because the edges are super sharp. Not sure what to do to get the apartment
Couldn't get the panels apart to even test it out. Sliced my finger on the side trying because the edges are super sharp. Not sure what to do to get the apartment. Wish I could have tried it for my chickens. Instructions seem easy enough and has labeling on some of the parts.

Love This Nesting Box!

I just unboxed the product and put it together. The nesting box took me about 1 hour to put together with a phillips screwdriver and pliers to hold the lock nuts in place. Had I used my electric tools and nut driver the process would have went faster. This product was fairly simple to put together. The main pieces were labeled so that you know which piece goes where. My Walk Through Instructions: You start by gathering the side piece (A) and the back piece. You'll want to bolt the back piece onto A, then add the center piece marked (B), and then bolt on the other end piece (C). Next, bolt on the front. Making sure that the holes for the perch brackets line up right before attaching the front. Once the front piece is securely bolted on, place the top of the nesting box on and align the holes. At this point, add the hangers on the corner back ends, then work the bolts through and fasten with the lock nuts. Don't forget to secure the center bolt into place. After that secure the long perch rods to the inside of the box. Align them with the holes and bolt them onto the box. Then bolt on the short perch brackets onto the long perch rods. After that use the 2 long bolts to screw the wood perch onto the perch brackets. Place the 2 bottom pieces of the box inside the nesting box. Wahl-lah it's finished! The Things That I Like About This Nesting Box: The first thing that I like about this box is the fact that the perch can be folded up. I like that the perch has already been sanded down. This is important so that my girls will not get splitters in their feet. The second thing that I like about the box is that the bottom pieces can be popped out for easier cleaning. The third thing that I like about the box is that it is made with the best materials. Plus, the box can be wiped down easily when cleaning it. The fourth thing that I like is the fact that the perch is far enough out from the nesting box that "the nasties" won't litter the inside of the box. There is plenty of room for the girls to perch on in between. I also like that this will be an additional perch in the girls coop. You can never have enough perches! I would also like to add that the box has nice sized vent holes on the sides. So, my girls will have plenty of air circulating through the nesting box when they are inside it laying eggs. I absolutely love this product! I put it together myself, with old-school hand tools, and it was very simple. My feathered babies will love it too! π£π€π₯ππ

This product is good quality and I'm sure will last for some time. It is roomy and the chickens couldn't wait to use it, although they all prefer to use the same side. The con for this product is putting it together. The instructions are terrible, there are blurry dark pictures instead of illustrations and the written instructions are not specific. It took me a while to put together but once was completed, I am very happy with it.
Honestly, I am impressed and the girls are too!
The ease of installation was what really was great. I was able to do this on my own. It is sturdy and secure. My girls looove it. Its up off the ground. My other
