Quality feed . Nice for my elderly chickens.

I am down to two 7 year old hens . Feeding them a quality food especially at this point in their lives is importantly to me . This Manna pro 16 is perfect for them

I am down to two 7 year old hens . Feeding them a quality food especially at this point in their lives is importantly to me . This Manna pro 16 is perfect for them . The ingredients are high quality . I’m of course introducing this food to my girls slowly . So far I’ve been tossing a handful outside for them every day for the last few days . They are loving this food and are happy forage for it and are eating it right up ! It may seem like a little thing , but I LOVE that the bag has a viewing window so that I can see the actual size of these pellets. I’ve bought many bags of food over the years only to find the pellet size so big that I’ve had chickens refuse to eat them! Not good when one buys a 50 lb bag of food ! I’m really happy that this contains probiotics . I like using pellet style food as it seems I have less waste as opposed to crumbles as the chickens tend to scratch crumbles out of their feeder . Also for someone with just a few hens this 8 pound bag is just the right size to stay fresh! All in all this is a really good product . My old girls approve !

First of all, one of my cats tried to chew through the bag before I could get it out to our hens. So that was my first clue that this food was special. Second, I was more or less swarmed by my birds once I filled their hanging feeder with these pellets. They acted like I was bringing leftover noodles (a favorite snack). I don't keep metrics on egg output because we're just a small family farm, so I can't say whether this has boosted production in any way. What I can say quantitatively is that my birds are very happy with it!

Kept eating it!

Chickens ran up to get this new food and keep eating so that was a good sign. I’ve mixed it into their regular feed and no issues here. Love that it is high in protein

We have been very pleased with the Manna layer pellets . The last time we purchased chicken feed the store was out if our regular brand. We purchased a store brand

We have been very pleased with the Manna layer pellets . The last time we purchased chicken feed the store was out if our regular brand. We purchased a store brand instead, there was alot of wasted food. After mixing in the Manna feed we started to notice less wasted food.

Decent probiotic food

I love that it has probiotics in it and the pellet sizes are good. My chickens chose this food over their pebble sized food. They absolutely loved it!! Unfortunately
