Coop ‘N Compost by MannaPro has no scent. It is easy to use, just shake it from the lid which has two convenient sized openings. I use the deep litter method and start with the general directions on the back of the container; after cleaning coop, sprinkling it to the floor of the coop before laying down fresh bedding. After the initial cleaning, treating, and laying of bedding, I follow the Deep Litter directions. Every week, I sprinkle once or twice. I also add it when added a new layer of bedding. It really helps to keep odors down.

This is the first poultry product like this that I've tried - typically we do good old fashioned elbow grease! So far it seems worth it. Smell isn't too "perfume", but quickly freshens up the coop. The texture is fine without being dusty/powdery, so you don't feel like you are inhaling it as you use it. There are two options, rather like on a spice jar, so you can sprinkle or pour the product. Chickens and ducks don't seem to mind it!

I was skeptical of this at first because I've tried other products that claimed to help with the smell of the coop. However, when I did my most recent full cleaning

I was skeptical of this at first because I've tried other products that claimed to help with the smell of the coop. However, when I did my most recent full cleaning before we got a big snow I put this product down before my pine pellets and shavings. The bottle is a little small, or I have a large coop, but I would probably need two next time. It worked wonderfully! The smell has significally decreased and I would purchase this again!

Works! I have a 10x30 area and a few thin applications did the job. Kept the coop from getting stinky. The tiny granules have little to no smell. It’s easy to control

Easy to use

I am exited to try out this product this winter as I use the deep bedding method for my coop. I just applied the first layer of this product to the existing bedding

I am exited to try out this product this winter as I use the deep bedding method for my coop. I just applied the first layer of this product to the existing bedding. This product is very easy to apply as it comes in a shaker type bottle with two different lid options - one large opening, or multiple smaller holes so you have better control over how much product you are shaking out. There was minimal dust when applying the product. Overall easy to add into your coop cleaning routine!

I’ve been using the Manna Pro Coop ‘N Compost Odor Neutralizer for my six chickens, especially now that they’re spending more time indoors for the winter. So far, it’s been great at keeping the coop smelling fresh and managing the moisture in the bedding. I’m looking forward to seeing how long it extends the life of the bedding, but it definitely makes a difference in controlling odor!

I absolutely can say that this 100% helps to keep smell down in the coop! I have 20+ chickens and with the cooler temps they like to stay inside where it’s warmer

I absolutely can say that this 100% helps to keep smell down in the coop! I have 20+ chickens and with the cooler temps they like to stay inside where it’s warmer. I sprinkled this down in my coop and after a week here was like no smell!! I clean the coop once a week (I have a droppings board under the roost) and I used it both in the sand I use and the pine shavings. Usually after a week it has a smell (not super bad but enough to notice). I am really pleased with this.

Easy to use and helps with the smell, especially when using the deep litter method. I just started doing the deep litter method again and this helps but I noticed

Easy to use and helps with the smell, especially when using the deep litter method. I just started doing the deep litter method again and this helps but I noticed it doesn't seem as long lasting as another brand I tried last year. The chickens don't seem to mind it though and the scent isn't overpowering so it doesn't seem like it would bother their respiratory systems either. Overall I'll continue using it, even if I need to use it more frequently
