The chickens absolutely loved these. They are fairly dense so it took a bit for them to chip away and eat the entire block (there are three blocks in the pack and we gave them one every couple days). However, we only have 7 chickens. A larger flock would be able to eat up a block quickly. So depending on the size of your flock this is a great treat every couple days or so to provide for some enrichment and healthy treat. Don’t know that I would get this if I had more chickens than I do but for our little backyard flock it’s perfect.

I recently tried this coop block for my 9-month-old Rhode Island Red hens, and they absolutely loved it. The block was filled with mealworms and black sunflower seeds, which they really seemed to enjoy. I like that the ingredient list had nutritious ingredients. On a nicer day, I left a block out in their run, and they had a blast pecking at it. On a colder, blustery day I moved it into their coop, and it kept them entertained during the chillier weather. There were three blocks, and they learned pretty quickly and got excited when I brought out a new one - their enthusiasm really speaks to how much they enjoyed this treat. They never left a scrap behind. Overall, this coop block was a great addition to their routine. It’s a fun treat that kept my girls happy and busy.

This was a perfect treat for my chickens AND the wild birds at my feeder. I used a cake in my coop area by placing the cake in a plastic tray and they peck away

I have also used it in a woodpecker feeder and the wild birds love it as well. It's a good product and contains everything the birds love.
