Very nice treat variety

My chicken really enjoyed the Farmhouse Favorites Sunflower Mix Up. Every morning I scatter some scratch into their run and they all come running to get their treats.

My chicken really enjoyed the Farmhouse Favorites Sunflower Mix Up. Every morning I scatter some scratch into their run and they all come running to get their treats. Something I noticed immediately with this product was the quality of the grain. It wasn't crushed into pieces and powder so there won't be any waste. It comes with a nice variety. The ingredient list includes corn, wheat, barley, millet, sunflower seeds and proplonic acid as preservative. The front of the package says the purple corn is non GMO however the ingredient list doesn't specify which ingredients are non GMO or not. The package has a fun design and has a zipper so the seeds stays fresh and can be sealed properly. Me and my chicken recommend this product, they truly love it.

Our hens like all chickens love to forage — but as the weather starts to get colder here in the Midwest and as most of the bugs and plants start to disappear, it’s harder for our girls to get enrichment. We introduced the seed mix to our girls’ yard area a few times a week to give them something new and fun, and they all really loved it! It is great for enrichment, must taste great as the girls scarfed it up, and the seed mix itself was high quality and not just a bag full of dusty filler like you see sometimes.

This is a nice mixture of seeds and grains for my flock. When the bag was first opened, there was a nice scent which I appreciated - not sure the chickens care though.They really seemed enjoy the mix up when I spread it around the yard. They cleaned it up pretty fast, only leaving a few grains here and there. I definitely recommend this as a good supplement to their regular feed.

I got the Mannapro farmhouse favorites, which is a sunflower mix-up. My chickens aren't able to free range due to a lot of predators in our area but this gives them the ability to act like they are. I toss it around their run and they are able to scratch around and forage. They go crazy for treats!
