Decor
I love it perfectly fits, exactly what I wanted and was looking for. I have 30 gallon tank and wanted to make it an all natural look habitat for my fish ! Spot on ! They love it too!
Do not buy this for an aquarium with fish
I wish I could give this zero stars. We have a 60gal community tank with 50 small fish. We ordered this as a decoration for our aquarium and not only has most of the paint chipped off the outside, we have lost half of our fish. We have a master test kit, all of our levels are perfect. All of our fish were healthy with no signs of illness at all prior to putting this decoration in the tank. The first photo was taken within two weeks, the second photo was taken another 6 weeks later.
Still awesome, 3+ years later
Bought this at least 3 or 4 years ago. It's been in my 45 gallon tank ever since. It has been cleaned and maintained by my fabulous snails crew. It still looks great! My various freshwater fishies and even my rainbow shark before she got huge, took turns claiming the shelter this provides. When I move it to a different area of the tank, it's game on and you can see them fighting over who gets it. I put some large plants around it to give these guys some more places to chill out by themselves. I highly recommend this if you have a large tank and need to break up some space so your fish buddies are not so up in each others personal space. Nobody likes that, even fish!
Good idea but needs work
Really good idea for the Aquarium but is cheaply made . I had to glue the front part on so it would stay . Although it's cheap it's worth the extra work to give my fish a place to hide and extra layers for them to rest or play . I will be ordering another for the other side .
Great for a 20 gallon aquarium!
It is a nice addition to my freshwater 20 gallon. Quality decent-enough. I submerged it for a while since it has some hollow points, but once you do that, it won't float or budge. Fish like hanging out around it, but it's slightly rough, so I do have some food-build up or algae that I try to keep under control. I put a silicone plant inside underneath for additional hiding places for the smaller fish.
started flaking off
After I put it in my tank the paint started to flake off and made my tank very brown. Cleared up after I took it out
Don't buy--hurts fish!!!
After adding this product to my aquarium the water quality declined rapidly. I thought maybe it was something else since this was made for aquariums and left it in. One of my fish lost it's eyesight and the other lost some scales because of the diminished water quality. As soon as I removed the product from the aquarium the water began stabilizing. I wish I had realized that was the problem sooner.
Ok product, wish were bigger/ taller and whole!
Everything went well and I would of rated this higher but the second of two roots I ordered was broken so I had to super glue it.
Looks great
Have had this for a couple years, and it works perfectly as advertised. No odor. Easy to clean. Good for breaking up water flow from the filter.
Broken in shipping
It came in broken for me, I don't know if I'll still use it.
